PM congratulates Prime Minister of Portugal H. E. Antonio Costa on re-election

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated Prime Minister of Portugal H. E. Antonio Costa for resounding performance in the parliamentary elections in Portugal and expressed his desire to continue deepening the warm and time-tested relationship with Portugal.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

"Congratulations to my friend @antoniocostapm for resounding performance in the parliamentary elections in Portugal and his re-election. Look forward to continue deepening the warm and time-tested relationship with Portugal.

Prime Minister invites citizens to share their UPI experiences as UPI completes a decade

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi recalled the transformative journey of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), which was rolled out a decade ago and marked a major turning point in India’s digital payments journey.

Highlighting the scale and reach achieved by UPI over the past ten years, Shri Modi said that its remarkable journey is something every Indian can be proud of. The Prime Minister invited citizens to share their experiences of using UPI and how it has impacted their daily lives.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

A decade ago, UPI was rolled out, marking a major turning point in India’s digital payments journey.
