After the successful visit to Seychelles, PM Modi where held extensive meetings with President Mr. Rajkeswur Purryag and other delegates. He visited the Ganga Talao in Mauritius and praised Mauritius for enriching Hindi literature. He also expressed his delight on being able to attend the National Day Celebrations of Mauritius.

In Sri Lanka, Shri Modi attended a series of events and committed to work together Sri Lanka to harness the potential of Ocean Economy. He paid a visit to Mahabodhi Society as well as addressed the Parliament of Sri Lanka. On the second day, he offered prayers at the Sri Mahabodhi Tree along with President Sirisena. He also handed over of homes at Ilavalai North-West Housing Project site in Jaffna.

Prime Minister commends release of the Constitution of India in Santhali language

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has commended release of the Constitution of India in Santhali language by the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. Shri Modi stated that will help to deepen constitutional awareness and democratic participation. "India is very proud of the Santhali culture and the contribution of Santhali people to national progress", Shri Modi said.
