The high voting percentages in Bengal till now have shown that the people have resolved to get rid of their corrupt government: Prime Minister Modi
‘Speed-Breaker Didi’ totally decieved the people and their aspirations in the name of ‘Maa, Maati, Maanush’: PM Modi in Bengal

Tearing on the ruling TMC government led by CM Mamata Bannerjee, Prime Minister Modi said, “The TMC government led by ‘Speed-Breaker Didi’ will understand on the 23rd May when the election results will be declared that ignoring the needs and wishes of the people comes at a very heavy cost.

They will understand how democracy ensures that those who loot people, who engage in political violence and hinder their progress, will be held accountable for their actions by losing power after elections. I am extremely happy with the high voting percentage in West Bengal and it is certain that the people of Bengal have decided to get rid of their incumbent corrupt government and stand resolutely with the BJP.”

Launching a scathing attack on the Opposition parties including the TMC for their numerous scandals and scams, PM Modi said, “While the CM of Bengal is busy giving Ministerial posts to those that looted the hard-earned money of the poor, she even went to the extent of sitting on a dharna for her corrupt ministers. What Mamata Didi has done to the aspirations of the people of Bengal will not be forgotten either by the past of this ancient land or by its future. The people had put their faith behind the government of Didi hoping that she would improve their lives, however, she totally decieved them in the name of ‘Maa, Maati, Maanush.”

Concluding his power-packed address to the enthusiastic supporters, PM Modi urged them to maintain the record voting percentages in Bengal in the upcoming phases of Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal and ensure that their corrupt government sees its end after these historic elections. He further enlisted his vision for the future of the country and also highlighted the agenda of his government in the next five years and appealed to his supporters to keep the achievements of his government in mind while voting and exercise their franchise wisely.

Commercial production and shipment of first Made-in-India semiconductor memory modules to commence
Facility to feature one of the world’s largest raised-floor cleanrooms

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on 28 February 2026. At around 3:45 PM, Prime Minister will inaugurate the Semiconductor Assembly, Test and Packaging (ATMP) facility of Micron Semiconductor Technology India Private Limited in Sanand. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The inauguration marks a significant milestone in India’s semiconductor manufacturing journey, with the commencement of commercial production and shipment of the first made-in-India semiconductor memory modules from the Sanand ATMP facility. This development represents a major step forward in strengthening India’s position in the global semiconductor value chain.

The project, which had its ground-breaking ceremony in September 2023, was the first proposal approved under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM). With a total outlay of more than ₹22,500 crore, construction commenced soon after approval, reflecting the Government’s commitment to fast-tracking strategic semiconductor investments in the country.

The Sanand facility, once fully ramped up, will feature approximately 500,000 square feet of cleanroom space, making it one of the world’s largest raised-floor cleanrooms. The facility is designed to serve customers worldwide and address the growing global demand for memory and storage solutions, driven by rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence and high-performance computing.

The Sanand ATMP facility will convert advanced Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) and NAND semiconductor wafers from Micron’s global manufacturing network into finished memory and storage products, catering to customers across global markets.

The establishment and operationalisation of this facility underscores India’s emergence as a trusted and competitive destination for semiconductor manufacturing and aligns with Prime Minister’s vision of building a resilient and self-reliant technology ecosystem in the country.
