The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated Shri Pranab Mukherjee, on the completion of his 3 years as the President of India.

"My congratulations to Rashtrapati ji as he completes 3 years in office. India has greatly benefited from his rich experience and wisdom", the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।”

The Subhashitam conveys that even when possessing gold, silver, rubies, and fine clothes, people still have to depend on farmers for food.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।"
