The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated P. V. Sindhu on winning Gold at BWF Championship.

“The stupendously talented P. V. Sindhu makes India proud again! Congratulations to her for winning the Gold at the BWF World Championships. The passion and dedication with which she’s pursued badminton is inspiring. PV Sindhu’s success will inspire generations of players”, the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasizing the transformative role of self-confidence in realizing the vision of a developed India.

In a post on X, he wrote:

"आत्मविश्वास वह शक्ति है, जिसके बल पर सब कुछ संभव है। विकसित भारत के सपने को साकार करने में देशवासियों की यही शक्ति बहुत काम आने वाली है।

श्रीर्मङ्गलात् प्रभवति प्रागल्भ्यात् सम्प्रवर्धते।

दाक्ष्यात् तु कुरुते मूलं संयमात् प्रतितिष्ठति॥ "
