Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi today called on the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at his residence and blessed him.
Sri Mata Amritanandamayi showed keen interest in Namami Gange. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to her for her great contribution to the Swachha Bharat Abhiyan and requested her to initiate a toilet construction project in the villages of five states of Ganga river basin, to which she agreed.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to fire tragedy in Hyderabad, Telangana. Shri Modi also wished speedy recovery for those injured in the accident.
The Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia from PMNRF of Rs. 2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 for those injured.
