The Karyakarta Mahakumbh was attended by the entire top brass of the BJP. From Shri LK Advani ji, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi ji, Leaders of the Opposition in both Houses, Shri Rajnath Singh ji to all former MP CMs and state unit Presidents it was a historic gathering. The leaders also made extremely inspiring speeches where they spoke about the strengths of the BJP and took on the UPA for their failures.

Former Deputy Prime Minister of India and senior BJP leader Shri LK Advani ji said that the BJP is different from every other Party. He stated that the BJP has reached where it has due to the efforts of the Karyakartas and not only due to speeches. He lauded the development work of the BJP Chief Ministers Shri Modi, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Dr. Raman Singh.

BJP President Shri Rajnath Singh expressed confidence of the BJP winning in Madhya Pradesh. He lauded the good work of Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, saying that he is a Janata Sevak and not merely a Shasak. He attacked the Central government for failure to keep prices under check. Shri Rajnath Singh expressed complete confidence that Shri Narendra Modi would become the Prime Minister come 2014.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi described Shri Narendra Modi as the future Prime Minister of the country and talked about building a great India under Shri Modi’s leadership. He congratulated the BJP Madhya Pradesh Unit for the wonder Karyakarta Mahakumbh and described it as a true Sangam (confluence).

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Smt. Sushma Swaraj stressed on the importance of taking the mind of the voters to the polling booth so that the Party can emerge victorious. She paid her tributes to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and appreciated the work of the Karyakartas of the BJP, who make the Party win and enable it to form the Government.

Shri Arun Jaitley, the leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha congratulated Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the excellent work he has done and stated that the BJP will win in Madhya Pradesh for the 3rd time. He attacked the UPA for their corruption and failure to check rising prices.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke extensively about the achievements of the BJP Government in the last few years. He said that the BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh is one that walks shoulder to shoulder with the people of the state unlike the Congress, which left the state in darkness. Shri Chouhan opined that the state government is not one that is there to enjoy the frills of power but is there to serve the aspirations of the people. He came down heavily on the corruption of the Congress and even stated that the Congress had ruined the education sector of the state. Commenting on the misuse of central agencies, Shri Chouhan said that the IT agencies should rather raid the son-in-law of the UPA chairperson rather than raiding other innocent people. Shri Chouhan said that he is standing here to assure the central leadership of the BJP that there will be a hat trick victory for the BJP in MP and that the state will contribute in the defeat of the UPA at the Centre. He thanked the people of MP for the affection they have shown to him and assured there he will not compromise with the future of the youth of Madhya Pradesh.

Former BJP President Shri Venkaiah Naidu lauded Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the good work and expressed hope that the BJP will win the semi-finals of 2013 and in the Lok Sabha elections thereafter. Shri Naidu shared that everywhere he goes the people are saying they want BJP and everyone is saying ‘Modi, Modi, Modi.’ He opined that the Congress lacks both Naam (a name) and Kaam (work record) to face the people.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Union Minister Uma Bharti ji pointed that the Karyakartas of the BJP have adorned the Virat Roop of Lord Krishna to make Shivraj ji the CM of MP and Narendra Bhai the PM of India. She expressed confidence that the mandate Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will get in 2013 would be bigger than in 2003 and also expressed faith that under Shri Modi India would become a true superpower where the welfare of the poor will be looked after.

BJP General Secretary Shri Ananth Kumar too expressed full confidence of a BJP victory in Madhya Pradesh under Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and will win the Lok Sabha elections under Shri Modi. Shri Narendra Tomar, the Madhya Pradesh BJP President delivered an insightful address as well.

All former BJP Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh Shri Sunderlal Patwa, Shri Kailash Joshi, Uma Bharti ji and Shri Babulal Gaur were present and also present were all former MP BJP Presidents. BJP leaders Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot, Shri Ram Lal, Gwalior MP Smt. Yashodhara Raje, Rajya Sabha MP Maya Singh ji, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Anil Dave were also present. Over 7 lakh Karyakartas from every part of Madhya Pradesh attended the Karyakarta Mahakumbh.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted with NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers, Tribal guests and Tableaux Artists who would be a part of the upcoming Republic Day parade at his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg earlier today. The interaction was followed by vibrant cultural performances showcasing the rich culture and diversity of India.

In a departure from the past, Prime Minister interacted with the participants in an innovative manner. He engaged in an informal, freewheeling one-on-one interaction with the participants.

Prime Minister emphasized the importance of national unity and diversity, urging all participants to interact with people from different states to strengthen the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. He highlighted how such interactions foster understanding and unity, which are vital for the nation’s progress.

Prime Minister emphasised that fulfilling duties as responsible citizens is the key to achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat. He urged everyone to remain united and committed to strengthening the nation through collective efforts. He encouraged youth to register on the My Bharat Portal and actively engage in activities that contribute to nation-building. He also spoke about the significance of adopting good habits such as discipline, punctuality, and waking up early and encouraged diary writing.

During the conversation, Prime Minister discussed some key initiatives of the government which are helping make the life of people better. He highlighted the government’s commitment to empowering women through initiatives aimed at creating 3 crore “Lakhpati Didis.” A participant shared the story of his mother who benefited from the scheme, enabling her products to be exported. Prime Minister also spoke about how India’s affordable data rates have transformed connectivity and powered Digital India, helping people stay connected and enhancing opportunities.

Discussing the importance of cleanliness, Prime Minister said that if 140 crore Indians resolve to maintain cleanliness, India will always remain Swachh. He also spoke about the significance of the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam initiative, urging everyone to plant trees dedicating them to their mothers. He discussed the Fit India Movement, and asked everyone to take out time to do Yoga and focus on fitness and well-being, which is essential for a stronger and healthier nation.

Prime Minister also interacted with foreign participants. These participants expressed joy in attending the programme, praised India’s hospitality and shared positive experiences of their visits.
