Jharkhand is echoing, "Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar!": PM Modi in Singhbhum rally

Before the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024, PM Modi attended and addressed a grand public event in Singhbhum, Jharkhand. The PM was deeply moved by the enthusiasm of the crowd and, in return, reiterated the Modi Ki Guarantee for everyone in Jharkhand.

“BJP has a special bond with Jharkhand. Only the BJP understands the state and its people. We initiated the creation of Jharkhand under Atal Ji's leadership, while Congress opposed it. Congress stalled development and exploited resources. But now, under Modi's leadership, the entire amount goes directly into your accounts. We launched Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Mudra Scheme, PM Jan Man Yojana, and ‘Modi Ki Guarantee wali gaadi’ right here in Jharkhand. We believe in starting schemes from every corner of the country, not just from Delhi. That's why Jharkhand is echoing, "Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar!" PM Modi established this while initiating his powerful speech.

Comparing Congress' vile intentions with BJP's divine vision, PM Modi remarked, “Congress wanted to monopolize the credit for independence to one family. BJP has given a new identity to Bhagwan Birsa Munda's birthday by celebrating it as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas. I inaugurated the museum at Bhagwan Birsa Munda's sacrifice site in Ranchi. We are building tribal museums across the country to promote tribal pride.”

“Congress opposes respect for tribal history and the progress of tribal society. They opposed making Draupadi Murmu Ji, a tribal woman, the President, unable to accept that tribal women can hold the highest post in the country,” the PM added.

“There's a race between Congress and JMM in Jharkhand - a race of corruption and looting. Recently, Rs 300 crore was recovered from the hideout of a Congress MP here. Whose money is this? It's the money of the poor, labourers, farmers, Dalits, and tribals of Jharkhand villages. Is this not a loot of your money?” PM Modi exposed the fallacies of the opposition for all to witness.

In Singhbhum, Prime Minister Modi said, "What face do the Congress and JMM leaders come to you with? They are so shameless that even after getting caught in scams and corruption, they do not care about it. Why do you think they are so eager to make a government? Do you think it's for your good? They want to make a government in Delhi because they want to unleash unrestrained loot in the country. Before 2014, they did nothing but loot the country. In their government, adivasis are killed in broad daylight. They want to maintain terror of criminals among the adivasis."

Taking immense pride in BJP’s efforts towards inclusive development of Jharkhand and the country as a whole, PM Modi observed, “On one side, Congress shows an anti-tribal mentality, while we prioritize tribal development. Who created the separate Tribal Ministry? Its BJP. Who is building numerous Eklavya residential schools for tribal youth? Its BJP. Construction of Eklavya Vidyalayas is progressing rapidly here too.”

Launching a blistering attack against the Congress party, PM Modi indulged in an open dialogue and questioned, “Congress threatens to investigate everyone's property and even the gold and silver possessions of tribal women. Their plan? To seize your property and distribute it among their vote banks. Now, Congress is eyeing reservations meant for Dalits, backward classes, and tribals. In Karnataka, they've already given backward-class reservations to Muslims, and they want to do the same across the country. I challenged Congress to guarantee they won't take away SC-ST reservations to give them to Muslims based on religion. They refuse to answer. Should Congress take away the reservation rights given by Baba Saheb?”

Expressing concern, PM Modi stated, “Congress, JMM, and their allies prioritize their vote bank over everything else. They provide shelter to infiltrators in Jharkhand, leading to the occupation of tribal land. Consequently, the number of tribals, especially in areas like Santhal Pargana, is decreasing.”

In his concluding statement, PM Modi expressed gratitude to everyone in the crowd for their valuable presence and urged, "Your vote on May 13th will ensure the development and security of Jharkhand. Please express your trust in Modi by pressing the lotus button."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi chaired the 52nd meeting of PRAGATI, the ICT-enabled, multi-modal platform aimed at fostering Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation, by seamlessly integrating efforts of the Central and State Governments, earlier today at Seva Teerth.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister reviewed four critical infrastructure projects across the Road, Power, Industrial Corridor and Metro Rail sectors, covering four States and costing around ₹30,000 crore. These projects, important for economic growth, regional connectivity, industrial development and public welfare, were reviewed with focus on timelines, inter-agency coordination, issue resolution and timely completion.

Prime Minister underlined that delays in infrastructure projects not only lead to cost escalation, but also deprive people and industries of timely benefits. He asked the concerned Ministries and State Governments to resolve pending issues in a mission-mode manner and ensure close monitoring at the highest level.

Prime Minister emphasised the use of PM GatiShakti National Master Plan for efficient planning and timely implementation of infrastructure projects. He also underlined the need for regular and timely updation of project details, utilities, infrastructure layers, clearances and other field-level information on the portal. He further emphasised that the platform must reflect the latest ground situation so that bottlenecks can be identified in advance, inter-agency coordination can be improved and decisions can be taken on the basis of reliable, real-time data.

Prime Minister reviewed TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and emphasised the need to leverage latest digital technologies including Artificial Intelligence. He suggested a team of NCC cadets and MY Bharat volunteers, for awareness, patient follow-up and community mobilisation.

Prime Minister also reviewed grievances related to Cyber Crime and Digital Arrest. He expressed concern over the rising misuse of digital platforms to defraud citizens and stressed that such matters require coordinated, sensitive and time-bound handling by all concerned agencies. He noted that citizens should not be made to run from one department or agency to another. He also emphasized the need for clear ownership, faster response, better coordination among law enforcement agencies, banks and digital platforms, and stronger public awareness campaigns.

Prime Minister observed that in cases involving cyber fraud, timely action is crucial to prevent financial loss and restore public confidence. He asked all stakeholders to work in close coordination to strengthen prevention, reporting, investigation and grievance redressal mechanisms. He also emphasised that States should work towards enabling e-Zero FIR mechanisms for faster registration and response in cyber fraud cases.
