Flyover collapse: PM Modi assures all possible support from the Centre

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has spoken to Chief Minister of West Bengal, Ms. Mamata Banerjee on the situation arising due to the collapse of an under construction flyover in Kolkata.

Prime Minister has expressed grief on the mishap in Kolkata and assured all possible support from the Center.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।”

The Subhashitam conveys that even when possessing gold, silver, rubies, and fine clothes, people still have to depend on farmers for food.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।

तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।"
