 PM Narendra Modi today inaugurated integrated sports & entertainment ‘Arena Project’ in Ahmedabad.

Speaking at the event, the PM said, “The determination of our sportspersons is admirable. They have pursued their passion with great diligence.” The PM added that there was a need to adopt a culture where sports was appreciated and supported, starting from the family.

On Khel Mahakumbh, the PM remarked, “Khel Mahakumbh has brought a strong shift and further encouraged a sporting culture in Gujarat.” 

 

Shri Modi lauded several sportspersons and said that the country was proud of their achievements. He also appreciated the exemplary contributions of women in the field of sports.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam that reflects the timeless wisdom of Indian thought. The verse conveys that just as trees bearing fruits and flowers satisfy humans when they are near, in the same way, trees provide all kinds of benefits to the person who plants them, even while living far away.

The Prime Minister posted on X;

“पुष्पिताः फलवन्तश्च तर्पयन्तीह मानवान्।

वृक्षदं पुत्रवत् वृक्षास्तारयन्ति परत्र च॥”
