The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has greeted the people on the start of Chingam, the first month of the Malayalam New Year.

“On the start of Chingam, the first month of the Malayalam New Year, my greetings to the Malayali community. May the year bring joy & peace,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“अल्पानामपि वस्तूनां संहतिः कार्यसाधिका।

तृणैर्गुणत्वमापन्नैर्बध्यन्ते मत्तदन्तिनः॥”

The Sanskrit Subhashitam conveys that even small things, when brought together in a well-planned manner, can accomplish great tasks, and that a rope made of hay sticks can even entangle powerful elephants.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“अल्पानामपि वस्तूनां संहतिः कार्यसाधिका।

तृणैर्गुणत्वमापन्नैर्बध्यन्ते मत्तदन्तिनः॥”
