PM congratulates Sania Mirza

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Sania Mirza for winning the US Open Mixed Doubles title. 

“Congratulations to Sania Mirza for the victory in the US Open Mixed Doubles Finals. We are very proud of the achievement,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister also congratulated Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori for making it to the US Open Finals.

“Good news from US Open continued with Kei Nishikori`s exemplary win! My best wishes to this young sportsman for the Final,” the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi met with the Trustees of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) today to discuss various aspects relating to further popularising India’s diverse culture.

The Prime Minister met Trustees of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts and explored ways to bring more people into the journey of cultural promotion. During the interaction, the Prime Minister and the Trustees discussed strengthening outreach through digital and grassroots initiatives, and emphasized the importance of supporting artists and scholars in preserving and promoting India's rich heritage.
