Chief Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of Kutchi New Year wished lots of prosperity, success and happiness for the future to the citizens of the Kutch.

On his way to Kutch for participating in Asthi Bij Mohatsav on Wednesday, Narendra Modi conveyed his best wishes and hoped that the lives of Kutchy people prospers economically and socially relentlessly. He said in last few years Kutch region has progressed tremendously and he expressed his desire with full faith that Kutch region will set a new definition of development in coming years.

The basic infrastructure facilities available in Kutch have attracted the attention of the entire country and the world. Along with it the initiatives of S. E. Z project and Costal Area Development have laid the new horizons of development, he mentioned. The dry land of Kutch has played an active role in the development of the state and the country and he wished that in the coming New Year the development of the Kutch moves with leaps and bounds.

Prime Minister expresses delight as Sarnath is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today expressed that it is a proud moment for every Indian, sharing his delight that Sarnath in Uttar Pradesh has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

He noted that Sarnath has a close association with Lord Buddha, whose timeless message of wisdom, compassion and harmony inspires the world.

Shri Modi highlighted that this recognition celebrates India’s profound civilisational and spiritual heritage. The Prime Minister observed that it will also inspire more people across the world to come to Sarnath and connect with the ideals of Lord Buddha.
