ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ನವಿ ಮುಂಬೈ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಗುದ್ದಲಿಪೂಜೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾದರು. ನವಿ ಮುಂಬೈನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಜವಾಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರೂ ಬಂದರು ನ್ಯಾಸದ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಕಂಟೈನರ್ ಟರ್ಮಿನಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು, ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜ್ ಅವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಮೊದಲು ತಾವು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಜಾಗತೀಕರಣವು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲದ ವಾಸ್ತವವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತೀಕರಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ವೇಗವನ್ನು ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು. ಸಾಗರ ಮಾಲಾ ಯೋಜನೆ ಬಂದರುಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಬಂದರು ಆಧಾರಿತ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಜಲ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ದೃಢ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ನವಿ ಮುಂಬೈ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಯೋಜನೆ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನನೆಗುದಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ವಿಳಂಬ ಹಲವು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದ ಅವರು, ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಭಾರತದ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ವಲಯ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ವಿಮಾನ ಯಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಜನರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಇದು ವಾಯುಯಾನ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ವಲಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಲು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ವಾಯುಯಾನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಬಲಿಷ್ಠವಾದ ವಾಯುಯಾನ ವಲಯವು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದೂ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಂಬು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
