ಭಾರತ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 197 ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ಕಿಗಾರಿ, ರವಾಂಡಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಕಿತ ಹಾಕಿರುವ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಹೈಡ್ರೋಫ್ಲೋರೋ ಕಾರ್ಬನ್ (ಎಚ್.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ.ಗಳು) ಬಳಕೆ ತಡೆಯುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕಿಗಾಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
” ಕಿಗಾಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಮೂಡಿದ ಮಾಂಟ್ರಿಯಲ್ ಶಿಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಒಂದು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸಂದರ್ಭವಾಗಿದೆ, ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಗ್ರಹದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವು ಈ ಶತಮಾನದ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ 0.5 ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ತಾಪಮಾನ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಯಾರಿಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿರುವ ಗುರಿಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗಲಿದೆ.
ಭಾರತ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ತೋರಿದ ಸಹಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಯತೆ ಈ ಮುಕ್ತ, ಸಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಯ ಎಚ್.ಎಫ್.ಸಿ. ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ರಚನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇಂಗಾಲ ಹೊರಸೂಸುವಿಕೆಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಭಾರತದಂಥ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
