ವಾರಣಾಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಂಗಾ ನದಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಲಾಗಿ ಪಂಡಿತ್‌ ದೀನ್ ದಯಾಳ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯ ಹೊಸ ರೈಲ್-ಕಮ್-ರೋಡ್ ಸೇತುವೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮಲ್ಟಿಟ್ರ್ಯಾಕಿಂಗ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪುಟದ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ: ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲು, ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಸುಲಭಗೊಳಿಸಲು, ಲಾಜಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲು, ತೈಲ ಆಮದು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಬನ್‌ ಡೈ ಆಕ್ಸೈಡ್‌ ಹೊರಸೂಸುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಚಿಂತನೆ

The proposed project will improve logistical efficiency by connecting the unconnected areas, and enhancing transportation networks, resulting in streamlined supply chains and accelerated economic growth
The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 2,642 crore (approx.) and will be completed in Four years
The project will also generate direct employment for about 10 lakh human-days during construction

ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಒಟ್ಟು 2,642 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ (ಅಂದಾಜು) ಅಂದಾಜು ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವಿತ ಬಹು-ಟ್ರ್ಯಾಕಿಂಗ್ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಾಗಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಜನನಿಬಿಡ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ವಾರಣಾಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಚಂದೌಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ವಾರಣಾಸಿ ರೈಲ್ವೇ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾತ್ರಿಕರು, ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗೆ ಗೇಟ್‌ವೇ ಆಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ವಾರಣಾಸಿ-ಪಂ. ದೀನ್ ದಯಾಳ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯ (ಡಿಡಿಯು) ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಕು ಸಾಗಣೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿದೆ, ಕಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಲು, ಸಿಮೆಂಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆಹಾರಧಾನ್ಯಗಳಂತಹ ಸರಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ, ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಭಾರೀ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆಗೊಳಿಸಬಹುದು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತದೆ.  

ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು, ಗಂಗಾ ನದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಸ ರೈಲು-ಕಮ್-ರಸ್ತೆ ಸೇತುವೆ ಮತ್ತು 3 ನೇ ಮತ್ತು 4 ನೇ ರೈಲು ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳ ನವೀಕರಣದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಧನೆಗಳು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ, ದಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ-ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿವೆ.  ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯ ಪರಿಹಾರದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ, ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 27.83 MTPA ಸರಕು ಸಾಗಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರ ನವ ಭಾರತದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿದೆ, ಇದು ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಜನರನ್ನು "ಆತ್ಮನಿರ್ಭರ್" ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ/ಸ್ವಯಂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಬಹು-ಮಾದರಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಕ್ಕಾಗಿ PM-ಗತಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಪ್ಲಾನ್‌ನ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ, ಸಮಗ್ರ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜನರು, ಸರಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಚಲನೆಗೆ ತಡೆರಹಿತ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ 2 ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೈಲ್ವೇಯ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೆಟ್‌ವರ್ಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು 30 ಕಿಮೀಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ರೈಲ್ವೆಯು ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಧನ ದಕ್ಷ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ವಿಧಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹವಾಮಾನ ಗುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದ ಲಾಜಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಬನ್‌ ಹೊರಸೂಸುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು (149 ಕೋಟಿ ಕೆಜಿ) ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದು 6 ಕೋಟಿ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿದೆ.

Prime Minister speaks with Amir of Qatar

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi spoke with H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar.

During the conversation, the Prime Minister conveyed that India stands firmly in solidarity with Qatar and strongly condemns any violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The two leaders emphasized the urgent need to restore peace and stability in the region through dialogue and diplomacy.

The Prime Minister also conveyed his appreciation for the continued support and care extended by the Qatari leadership to the Indian community in Qatar during this challenging time.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“Spoke with my brother, H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar. We stand firmly in solidarity with Qatar and strongly condemn any violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
