प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कंस्ट्रक्शन टेक्नोलॉजी इंडिया-2019 का उद्घाटन किया

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today addressed the Construction Technology India Event, 2019 event at Vigyan Bhavan today.

The Prime Minister emphasized the commitment of the Union Government towards ensuring that every family’s dream of a home, becomes a reality.

The Prime Minister said that the need for the Global Housing Technology Challenge, was felt in the light of rapid urbanization in India. He said that elements from several schemes, including PM Awas Yojana, HRIDAY and AMRUT, are oriented towards transforming the housing sector.

 He said that adapting technology to different geographical conditions is also a challenge. The Prime Minister said a lot of emphasis has been placed on affordable housing, real estate sector, skill development, and housing technology.

The Prime Minister reiterated his dream that every Indian should have a proper house by 2022, and 1.3 crore houses have been made in his tenure. He called upon everyone to work together to enhance capacities and help the poor.

The Prime Minister said that the Government is also making it easier for people to buy houses, through tax and other incentives. He said the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, (RERA), has improved consumers’ confidence in developers and brought transparency in the Real Estate Sector.

 He said a large pool of skilled human resource has been created, especially in the rural areas. He said that in the construction sector, there is now much greater focus on disaster-resilience, energy efficiency, and local innovation. 

The Prime Minister said that the Global Housing Technology Challenge is a platform that can help elevate India’s construction ecosystem to international standards. He declared that the period from April 2019 to March 2020, will be observed as the Construction Technology Year.

5 लाख रुपए तक की Taxable Income पर टैक्स Zero कर दिया गया है।

अब दो घरों के अनुमानित किराये पर कोई इनकम टैक्स नहीं देना होगा। इसी तरह कैपिटल गेंस टैक्स से छूट अब एक के बजाय दो घरों पर मिलने वाली है,

ये तमाम प्रयास मध्यम वर्ग को नए घर घरीदने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने वाले हैं: PM

हाल में ही कंस्ट्रक्शन सेक्टर पर GST को बहुत कम किया गया है।

अफॉर्डेबल हाउसिंग पर GST 8 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 1 प्रतिशत किया गया है,

वहीं अंडर कंस्ट्रक्शन हाउसिंग प्रोजेक्ट्स पर GST 12 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 5 प्रतिशत किया गया: PM

फंडिंग के साथ-साथ भारत के इतिहास में पहली बार हाउसिंग सेक्टर को, रियल एस्टेट सेक्टर को स्पष्ट कानूनों का सहारा मिल सके, इसके लिए भी काम किया गया है।

RERA से इस सेक्टर में पारदर्शिता आई है और ग्राहकों का भरोसा मजबूत हुआ है: PM

भारत में कंस्ट्रक्शन की अप्रोच में हमने एक और बदलाव किया है।

अब चाहे सड़कें हों, रेज़िडेंशियल अपार्टमेंट्स हों या फिर कमर्शियल बिल्डिंग्स,

इको फ्रेंडली, Disaster-Resilient और Energy-Efficient निर्माण को प्रोत्साहन दिया जा रहा है: PM

आशा इंडिया यानी Affordable Sustainable Housing Accelerator इस तरह के इनोवेशन्स को बाजार के हिसाब से ढ़ालने में लगा है।

आशा GHTC-India का हिस्सा है।

इसमें IIT में काम कर रहे चार इन्क्यूबेशन सेंटर पर युवा उद्यमियों के आइडिया को बाजार के हिसाब से उपयोगी बनाने पर काम चल रहा है: PM
