On Monday, 1st October 2012 Shri Modi addressed a massive crowd gathered from Junagadh and Keshod. He stressed on the fact that Congress is becoming burden for the nation and it is crucial to remove this burden soon. Shri Modi was addresing the Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra in the region. Engrossed in destroying public lives, Congress has not only failed to play the role of opposition but also placed itself beyond the pale of humanity, said Shri Modi.

Paying rich tributes to Swami Vivekananda, Shri Modi said that Swamiji dreamt of making India the Jagad Guru. But the directionless (Dishaheen) Congress has pushed the nation into the extreme conditions rather making it a World Leader. Speaking on the situation prevailing since past 8 years, Shri Modi said that keeping the Nation’s Heritage, Dignity, and Progress aside Prime Minister Manmohan Singh along with the entire Congress Party is busy worshipping Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.  Rs. 1880 crores have been spent for the personal tours of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi for her visits to America Shri Modi said and questioned the Prime Minister if he had an authority to spend these Rs. 1880 crores.

Shri Narendra Modi asserted that he is a staunch follower of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and declared the fact the Gujarat and Development had become synonymous to each other. Shri Modi affirmed that the last decae was spent in filling the ditches created by preceeding Congress rule but, the journey towards Bhavya (Excellent) and Divya (Divine)  Gujarat begins now! National vice president Purushottam bhai Rupala, state BJP president R C Faldu, BJP Leader Vijay Rupani, Gujarat state planning commission Vice Chairman Bhupendra Chudasama, Gujarat state BJP secretary Barat Pandya, Mrs. Neeruben Kambalia, Shri Jeetubhai Vaghani, Member of Rajyasabha Shri Mansukhbhai Mandavia, Shri Shankarbhai Vegad, Shri Naranbhai Kachadia along with the President of district BJP, district functionaries, Regional ministers, Legislators, Presidents of district and taluka panchayat and local self-government representatives were present on the occasion.

Prime Minister hails India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement as a historic milestone for bilateral relations

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed delight that the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement will enter into force on 15 July 2026.

The Prime Minister said that the agreement will significantly boost bilateral trade and investment.

Shri Modi stated that the agreement will unlock numerous opportunities for Indian farmers, workers, MSMEs, startups and innovators and contribute meaningfully to the realisation of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The Prime Minister noted that both he and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who are in Evian for the G7 Summit, are very happy with the significant momentum being added to India-UK economic ties.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“A historic milestone for India-UK relations.

Delighted to note that the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement will enter into force on 15th July 2026.

This agreement will significantly boost our bilateral trade and investment.

It will also unlock numerous opportunities for Indian farmers, workers, MSMEs, startups and innovators and contribute meaningfully to the realisation of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Both PM Starmer and I, who are in Evian for the G7 Summit, are naturally very happy with the significant momentum being added to our economic ties.
