પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમાના શુભ અવસર પર લોકોને શુભેચ્છા પાઠવી છે.
એક ટ્વીટમાં, પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું;
"ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમા પર શુભેચ્છાઓ. આ બધા અનુકરણીય ગુરુઓ પ્રત્યે કૃતજ્ઞતા વ્યક્ત કરવાનો દિવસ છે જેમણે આપણને પ્રેરણા આપી, માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું અને જીવન વિશે ઘણું બધું શીખવ્યું. આપણો સમાજ શીખવા અને ડહાપણને ખૂબ મહત્વ આપે છે. આપણા ગુરુઓના આશીર્વાદ ભારતને નવી ઊંચાઈઓ પર આગળ લઈ જાય."
