Former PM Narasimha Rao was disrespected and demeaned despite his unflinching loyalty to the Congress Party: PM Modi

Ahead of PM Modi’s relentless election campaign in poll-bound Telangana, he addressed a public rally in Mahabubabad. He said, “The people of Telangana are determined to oust the BRS Government and vote the BJP to power.” He added that both BRS-Congress have led Telangana to the path of destruction. He iterated, “It is BJP’s promise that once voted to power, Telangana will have a CM from the OBC community.”

Speaking on the evil intentions of KCR and BRS, PM Modi said, “Both KCR & BRS realized the rising importance of BJP and wished to ally with us. But Modi can never go against the wishes of the people of Telangana.” He added that now, as the BJP rejected BRS and KCR, they are dejected and indulge in incessant criticism against both the BJP and me. He said it is Modi’s guarantee of not allying with the corrupt BRS.

Highlighting the state of governance in the BRS-ruled Telangana, PM Modi said, “The farmhouse CM of BRS is destroying Telangana’s twin identity of Tradition & Technology.” He added, “BJP considers its responsibility to free Telangana of BRS-led corruption, mafia rule and superstition.” He said that while it is important to oust BRS from Telangana it is equally important to prevent the corrupt Congress from coming to power.

Addressing an important issue, PM Modi said, “BRS-Congress is a car with the same steering wheel founded on Corruption, Appeasement & Dynastic Politics.” He remarked, “Both BRS-Congress are responsible for lawlessness and the sheer neglect of the Dalit, STs, and the OBCs.” On the contrary, “It is the BJP Government that has established a welfare board for the DNTs of Banjara, Ghumantu, and Ardh-ghumantu, said PM Modi.” He added that the BJP Government prioritized the legacy of Sant Sevalal ji Maharaj so that his pivotal contributions are both revered and remembered.

Showcasing the BJP Government’s steadfast commitment to the development and progress of the Janjatiyas, PM Modi said that the Government had created Museums to honour great tribal leaders, including Komaram Bheem and Ramji Gond. He said it is their priority to provide scholarships to various ST students. PM Modi remarked, “BJP’s commitment is to honour the tribal legacy of Sammakka-Sarakka by establishing a Central Tribal University dedicated in their name.”

Regarding the holistic empowerment of the Madiga community, PM Modi said, “BJP will leave no stone unturned to establish a welfare committee to correct the historic injustices committed to the Madiga community.” Speaking in support of the small and marginal farmers, PM Modi said that, unlike the BRS Government’s policy of neglecting farmers, we have sought to empower them through initiatives such as PM-KISAN and Urea subsidies enabling true social justice.

Highlighting the unabated price rise in Telangana, PM Modi promised that with the formation of the BJP Government, the people of Telangana will get cheaper petrol and diesel like in other BJP-governed states. He said, “BRS promised water, wealth, and robust policies to the people of Telangana but has only given them tears, betrayal, and unemployment in return.”

Addressing a second rally in Karimnagar, PM Modi said, “Karimnagar serves as the evidence of India’s democratic traditions and being the mother of Democracy.” He added, “Today, only one voice dominates Telangana, which is to see the 1st time formation of a BJP Government.”

Stating how Congress has betrayed its own leaders, PM Modi said, “We all know how former PM Narasimha Rao was disrespected and demeaned despite his unflinching loyalty to the Congress Party.” He added that for both Congress and BRS, ‘Family’ comes first. He said that both Congress and the BRS only have corrupt agendas, while the BJP aims to strive for the true empowerment of the people of Telangana.

Highlighting the lies of CM KCR and BRS, PM Modi said, “Be it the promise of making Karimnagar a smart city or the benefits of the Kaleshwaram Lift irrigation project, the BRS Government has failed to deliver.” He added that the BRS Government is founded on lies and that only the BJP Government can ensure these promises are fulfilled as they are a symbol of Modi’s guarantee. He said that to empower the poor and downtrodden the BJP Government also launched the PM Vishwakarma.

On the future of Telangana, PM Modi said that in the coming five years, the state of Telangana would have completed 15 years. “Like every parent who dreams and guides for a better future for their children, on the same lines, we must also envisage the future of Telangana, and for the same, a double-engine Sarkar of the BJP is pivotal,” he added.

PM Modi said that the BRS Government in Telangana represents falsity and deceit and stated that once the BJP Government is voted to power in Telangana, a double-engine Sarkar will facilitate the development of all, freeing the people of Telangana of a corrupt and farmhouse CM. In the end, he appealed to all the voters to vote for the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections in the state of Telangana.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi chaired the 47th Annual General Meeting of the Prime Ministers Museum and Library (PMML) Society at Teen Murti Bhawan in New Delhi, earlier today.

During the meeting, Prime Minister emphasised that museums hold immense significance across the world and have the power to make us experience history. He underlined the need to make continuous efforts to generate public interest in museums and to enhance their prestige in society.

Prime Minister put forward a visionary concept of a “Museum Map of India”, aimed at providing a unified cultural and informational landscape of museums across the country.

Underlining the importance of increased use of technology, Prime Minister suggested development of a comprehensive national database of all museums in the country, incorporating key metrics such as footfall and quality standards. He also suggested organising regular workshops for those managing and operating museums, with a focus on capacity building and knowledge sharing.

Prime Minister highlighted the need for fresh initiatives, such as creation of a committee consisting of five persons from each State below the age of 35 years in order to bring out fresh ideas and perspectives on museums in the country.

Prime Minister also highlighted that with the creation of museum on all Prime Ministers, justice has been done to their legacy, including that of the first Prime Minister of India Shri Jawaharlal Nehru. This was not the case before 2014.

Prime Minister also asked for engaging top influencers to visit the museums and also invite the officials of various embassies to Indian museums to increase the awareness about the rich heritage preserved in Indian Museums.

Prime Minister advised that a compilation of all the legal battles and documents relating to the Emergency period may be prepared and preserved in light of the completion of 50 years after the Emergency.

Prime Minister highlighted the importance of preserving and documenting the present in a systematic manner. He noted that by strengthening our current systems and records, we can ensure that future generations and researchers in particular will be able to study and understand this period without difficulty.

Other Members of the PMML Society also shared their suggestions and insights for further enhancement of the Museum and Library.

Prime Minister also planted a Kapur (Cinnamomum camphora) tree in the lawns of Teen Murti House, symbolizing growth, heritage, and sustainability.
