The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has spoken to Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Ms. Jayalalithaa, on flood situation in parts of the State.

"Spoke to Jayalalithaa ji on the flood situation in parts of Tamil Nadu. Assured all possible support and cooperation in this unfortunate hour", the Prime Minister tweeted.

પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ ઐતિહાસિક 'ભારત છોડો ચળવળ'માં ભાગ લેનારા તમામ લોકોને યાદ કર્યા અને ભારતની સ્વતંત્રતાની લડાઈમાં તેમની હિંમત અને દૃઢ નિશ્ચયને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપી હતી. શ્રી મોદીએ કહ્યું કે મહાત્મા ગાંધીના નેતૃત્વથી પ્રેરિત થઈને, 'ભારત છોડો ચળવળ'ના આહ્વાનથી સ્વતંત્રતા સંગ્રામમાં નવી ઊર્જાનો સંચાર કર્યો હતો અને બ્રિટિશ શાસનમાંથી મુક્ત થવાના આપણા લોકોના અડગ સંકલ્પને પ્રતિબિંબિત કર્યો હતો.

પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ X પર પોસ્ટ કર્યું:

“ઐતિહાસિક 'ભારત છોડો ચળવળ'માં ભાગ લેનારા તમામ લોકોને યાદ કરીને તેમની હિંમત હંમેશા દરેક ભારતીય માટે પ્રેરણારૂપ રહેશે. મહાત્મા ગાંધીના નેતૃત્વથી પ્રેરિત થઈને, 'ભારત છોડો ચળવળ'ના આહ્વાનથી આપણા સ્વતંત્રતા સંગ્રામમાં નવી ઊર્જાનો સંચાર કર્યો હતો અને બ્રિટિશ શાસનમાંથી મુક્ત થવાના આપણા લોકોના અડગ સંકલ્પને પ્રતિબિંબિત કર્યો હતો.”
