PM shares sorrow and pain of those affected by cyclone in Vanuatu

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said he shares the sorrow and pain of all those affected by the devastation caused by Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu.

"The devastation caused by Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu is extremely unfortunate. I share the sorrow and pain of all those who have been affected. MEA will provide immediate financial assistance to people of Vanuatu. We stand shoulder to shoulder with Vanuatu in this hour of grief," the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the qualities of an ideal and truly excellent individual in fulfilling personal, social, and national duties.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;


"परकार्येषु युक्तात्मा स्वकार्ये क्षिप्रसाधनम्।

सुहृत्कार्येषु निर्वृत्ती राजकार्येषु विक्रमः ।। "

The person who devotes themselves wholeheartedly to the tasks of others, completes their own personal duties with speed and efficiency, carries out tasks for friends selflessly, and demonstrates their full valor and courage in fulfilling national duties, only such a person is truly excellent.
