Glimpses of Shri Modi’s visit to Haridwar

On Friday 26th April 2013 Shri Narendra Modi visited Haridwar in Uttarakhand to inaugurate the Acharyakulam Shikshan Sansthanam at Patanjali Yogpeeth. This Acharyakulam Shikshan Sansthanam has been built under the guidance of noted Yoga Guru, Baba Ramdev.

Shri Narendra Modi spoke about the contribution of saints in the making of our nation. A large number of seers and religious leaders including Baba Ramdev, the most revered Shri Morari Bapu ji, Shri Ramesh Bhai Oza among others. Shri Modi’s speech was lauded across the media and social media.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today expressed joy and pride at the inclusion of Deepavali in the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List.

Responding to a post by UNESCO handle on X, Shri Modi said:

“People in India and around the world are thrilled.

For us, Deepavali is very closely linked to our culture and ethos. It is the soul of our civilisation. It personifies illumination and righteousness. The addition of Deepavali to the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List will contribute to the festival’s global popularity even further.

May the ideals of Prabhu Shri Ram keep guiding us for eternity.
