Garib Kalyan Mela is making a positive impact

Scripting a new chapter of development, Garib Kalyan Mela is making a very positive impact, said Finance Minister Shri Vajubhai Vala in the Garib Kalyan Mela held at Mandavi. Women empowerment is the key to community development, Minister highlighted the schemes launched by State Government that enhances role and economic contribution of women. Minister and other dignitaries distributed welfare assistance and tool-kits to the poor.

Minister of State Shri Vasanbhai Aahir claimed that Global Meltdown had had its minimum impact on Gujarat, Kutch and Gujarat has made remarkable strides in various sectors. State Government has operationalised number of schemes, and has under taken various development programmes with total transparency. The poor beneficiaries are getting the benefits at the doorstep without any hurdle or delay, he added. MLA Shri Jayantibhai Bhanushali outlined the aims and objectives of Garib Kalyan Mela.

Sarpanch of Badal village was honoured for his outstanding contribution in Nirmal-Gram Yojana. Progressive farmers Shri Mahendrasinh Jadeja, Visanjibhai Furiya, Mulchand Nisar, Pravinbhai Patel and Shamjibhai Sanghar were felicitated on the occasion.

District Panchayat President Shri Jivabhai Aahir, MLAs Dr. Neemaben Aacharya, Jayantibhai Bhanushali, Ramesh Maheshwari, Chairman Sardar Sarovar Scheme- Kachchha and Saurashtra region- Shri Anantbhai Dave, Ex.M.P Pushpadan Gadhvi, Ex. MLA Tarachand Cheda, eminent leaders, District Magistrate Shri M.Thennarsan, District Development Officer Shri Rajkumar Beniwal were among the others who attended the Mela.

Prime Minister shares a photo of the Somnath Temple taken en route to Vadodara

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared a photo of the Somnath Temple taken while on his way from Somnath to Vadodara.

The Prime Minister noted that on the shores of Prabhas Patan, the Somnath Temple stands tall as a radiant symbol of devotion, history, and civilisational spirit. Shri Modi highlighted that the eternal temple has outlasted barbaric attacks, invasions, and the passage of centuries.

The Prime Minister further stated that Somnath gives every Indian strength, courage, and hope.

In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister wrote:
