CM to launch school enrollment drive on June 14

As a part of the drive, CM will visit primary schools in tribal-dominated villages of Sabarkantha

Chief Minister Narendra Modi will lead the three-day ‘girl child education’ and ‘school enrollment’ drive that is taking place in the State from June 14 to 16.

As a part of the drive, Mr. Modi will deliver his address on ‘collective efforts for the promotion of primary education’ via video conference on June 14, Thursday, from Gandhinagar.

Later on, the Chief Minister will visit primary schools and anganwadis of tribal-dominated regions of Mautanda village of Bhiolda taluka and Todav village of Vijaynagar taluka in Sabarkantha district.

PM hails Garba's inscription on the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today expressed happiness on the inscription of Garba of Gujarat on the Intangible Heritage List of UNESCO.

The Prime Minister posted on X;

"Garba is a celebration of life, unity and our deep-rooted traditions. Its inscription on the Intangible Heritage List showcases to the world the beauty of Indian culture. This honour inspires us to preserve and promote our heritage for future generations. Congrats for this global acknowledgment."
