EAM Sushma Swaraj delivered a strong and articulate address at the United Nations General Assembly. She spoke about several global issues ranging from world peace, prosperity, Sustainable development goals among others. She highlighted India's commitment to key areas like cleanliness and girl child education. She made a strong pitch for the world to unite against terror and isolate those nations supporting terrorism. She also spoke about the human rights violations in Balochistan. The Prime Minister applauded her speech. He tweeted,

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has lauded the NDA Government in Maharashtra for its unwavering commitment to infrastructure-led growth, following the grand inauguration of the Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg.

Responding to the post of CMO Maharashtra about aforesaid inauguration, Shri Modi wrote;
