Prime Minister Modi will be visiting South Africa on 8th & 9th July. The visit is aimed at expanding co-operation, trade, investment & cultural ties with South Africa.

India's relations with South Africa are deep rooted and have stood the test of time. South Africa played a vital role in Gandhi ji’s life. In South Africa, Prime Minister Modi will meet President Jacob Zuma and look forward to deepening our engagement.

In Johannesburg, PM Modi will address a Community Programme and interact with the Indian community.

PM Modi expresses concern over reports on Russian President’s Residence

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today expressed deep concern over reports regarding the targeting of the residence of the President of the Russian Federation.

Shri Modi underscored that ongoing diplomatic efforts remain the most viable path toward ending hostilities and achieving lasting peace. He urged all concerned parties to remain focused on these efforts and to avoid any actions that could undermine them.

Shri Modi in a post on X wrote:

“Deeply concerned by reports of the targeting of the residence of the President of the Russian Federation. Ongoing diplomatic efforts offer the most viable path toward ending hostilities and achieving peace.
