The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that leaders from across the world will gather for the BRICS Summit in the coming days. He expressed confidence that the Summit will witness positive and meaningful discussions on various issues, guided by the aspiration for the welfare of the world.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“सद्भिरेव सहासीत सद्भिः कुर्वीत सङ्गतिम्।

सद्भिर्विवादं मैत्रीं च नासद्भिः किंचिदाचरेत्॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that a person should always live among the virtuous and cultivate their company. A person should engage in discussion and foster friendly relations with the virtuous, because mutual goodwill, dialogue and friendly relations strengthen peace and cooperation.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“अगले कुछ दिनों में दुनियाभर के नेता BRICS Summit के लिए जुटेंगे। पूर्ण विश्वास है कि सम्मेलन में विश्व कल्याण की कामना के साथ विभिन्न मुद्दों पर सकारात्मक और सार्थक चर्चा होगी।

Prime Minister announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of lives due to a mishap in Nanded, Maharashtra.

The Prime Minister conveyed his thoughts to the bereaved families in this hour of grief and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Shri Modi announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister’s Office said;

“Saddened by the loss of lives due to a mishap in Nanded, Maharashtra. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.
