The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi paid tributes to the venerable Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar on his sacred Guru Pooja.

Shri Modi said that Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar’s timeless principles remain a beacon of inspiration for generations to come.

The Prime Minister posted on X;

“We pay our deepest tribute to the venerable Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar on his sacred Guru Pooja. His rich work, deeply rooted in the upliftment of society, his spiritual path espousing unity, the prosperity of farmers and the eradication of impoverishment, continues to illuminate the path of national progress. His timeless principles remain a beacon of inspiration for generations to come.”

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising on collective strength and resolve for progress and well-being of the nation:

“स्वस्ति पन्थामनुचरेम सूर्याचन्द्रमसाविव।

पुनर्ददाताघ्नता जानता सङ्गमेमहि॥”

The Prime Minister said that boundless strength of the people of India is the axis of the nation's development. Through our capabilities and mutual trust, we have realized every resolve and will continue to do so in the future.

The Subhashitam conveys that, may we continuously walk on the auspicious path like the sun and the moon. May we move forward together with mutual nonviolence, harmony, and wisdom, and with each others’ support towards progress and well-being.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“भारतवासियों की असीम शक्ति ही देश के विकास की धुरी है। अपने सामर्थ्य और परस्पर विश्वास से हम हर संकल्प को साकार करते आए हैं और आगे भी करते रहेंगे।
