Prime Minister condoles the loss of lives due to the wall collapse in Bengaluru, Karnataka

PM announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the unfortunate mishap due to the collapse of a wall in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The Prime Minister conveyed that his thoughts are with the bereaved families and wished for the injured to recover at the earliest.

Shri Modi announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) would be given to the next of kin of the deceased, and the injured would be given Rs. 50,000.

The Prime Minister posted on X:
"The mishap due to the collapse of a wall in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is unfortunate. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. May the injured recover at the earliest.
An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of the deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM"

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting that enthusiasm and positive energy inspire a person to remain consistently active in their actions.

The Prime Minister noted that this unwavering enthusiasm leads all those efforts to success which a person resolves to accomplish.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"कर्मशील और ऊर्जावान देशवासी ही राष्ट्र की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति हैं, जिनके परिश्रम से विकास की नई राहें तय होती हैं। इनके प्रयासों से देश समृद्धि, आत्मनिर्भरता और उन्नति के शिखर को छूता है।

अनिर्वेदो हि सततं सर्वार्थेषु प्रवर्तकः।

करोति सफलं जन्तोः कर्म यच्च करोति सः॥"
Enthusiasm and positive energy inspire a person to remain consistently active in their actions. This unwavering enthusiasm leads all those efforts to success which a person resolves to accomplish.
