My vision is Viksit Bharat and Viksit Jharkhand: PM Modi

On his visit to Jharkhand, PM Modi addressed a dynamic rally in Dhanbad. Addressing the rally, PM Modi said, "People have graced this rally in large numbers, giving the confidence that N.D.A. will emerge with 400+ seats in this upcoming Lok Sabha elections.”

Speaking on the development of Sindri, PM Modi said, "In 2017, the foundation stone for the Sindri fertilizer plant was laid, and today it has been inaugurated, showcasing th e fulfilment of Modi's guarantee." He added, "B.J.P. is synonymous with rapid & robust development of Jharkhand, while Congress is the enemy of its development." He said that an example is the corruption-ridden' North Karanpura Thermal Plant' by the Congress. From 2014 onwards, the thermal plant was revived, and Modi's guarantee facilitated electricity to all households, he said.

Emphasizing the rail infrastructural progress of Jharkhand, PM Modi said, "Jharkhand has witnessed unprecedented transformation in the recent years as it now possesses 2 airports, 3 Vande Bharat trains and will soon have 27 Amrit Bharat stations."

"On one hand, there is infrastructural progress in Jharkhand, and on the other hand, we have the 'Corruption-Dynastic Politics-Appeasement' axis led by the JMM-Congress," he said. He added that all the money looted by the JMM-Congress belongs to the poor tribals of Jharkhand.

Lamenting the JMM-Congress for the sheer lawlessness in Jharkhand, PM Modi said, "The JMM-Congress has no respect for the law and is evading law enforcement agencies such as E.D." He noted that the JMM-Congress are looting the people of the state and has reduced the tribal people to mere vote banks. "On one hand, the JMM-Congress promotes their families and on the other hand, Modi works for the country's future," he said. He added that an example of the same is the provision of free rations to over 80 crore poor people, including our Shramiks from Jharkhand.

Talking about the roadblocks initiated by the I.N.D.I alliance, PM Modi said, "The I.N.D.I alliance only believes in creating roadblocks to development, leading to only 50% of households getting water under Jal Jeevan Mission." On the contrary, he said we have initiated steps to foster Garib-Kalyan in the true sense. He added, "The B.J.P. is committed to fostering the empowerment of tribal communities such as Baiga, Birhor, Birjia, Korwa, Paharia, and Savara, among various others." He reiterated, "It is the BJP that has instituted the celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, ensuring a museum in honour of Birsa Munda Ji."

Concluding his address, PM Modi said, "My vision is Viksit Bharat, Viksit Jharkhand." He added that an embodiment of this is the exit of 25 crore people from the web of multidimensional poverty in the last ten years. Thanking the people of Jharkhand, he asked them for their continuous support for the B.J.P. and to convey his regard to all who could not attend the rally.

To encourage sustained job creation, Employers eligible for Incentive of up to ₹3,000 per Month per Additional Employee
PM-VBRY is designed to facilitate Job Creation, Formalisation of Employment and Expansion of Social Security Coverage
Scheme has already Facilitated Employment for 15 Lakh Beneficiaries Across the Country

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will disburse incentives worth around ₹2,400 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) at a special programme to be held on 19 June 2026 at 5 PM at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The disbursal marks a significant milestone in the implementation of PM-VBRY, the Government of India’s flagship employment-linked incentive scheme aimed at accelerating job creation, promoting formalisation of employment, enhancing employability, and expanding social security coverage across sectors. The scheme has already supported the creation of 15 lakh employment opportunities across the country.

PM-VBRY is designed to encourage both workers and employers to participate in the formal economy. Under the scheme, first-time employees are eligible for an incentive of up to ₹15,000, providing crucial support as they enter the workforce. Employers generating additional employment are eligible for incentives of up to ₹3,000 per month per additional employee, thereby encouraging sustained job creation. Recognising the strategic importance of manufacturing in driving economic growth, employers in the manufacturing sector are eligible to receive incentives for a period of four years, while employers in all other sectors can avail incentives for two years.

The scheme reflects the Government’s commitment to fostering an enabling ecosystem for employment-led growth and ensuring that the benefits of India’s economic progress translate into quality formal employment opportunities for its youth.

PM-VBRY came into effect on 1 August 2025. With a total outlay of ₹99,446 crore, the scheme aims to incentivise the creation of more than 3.5 crore jobs over a two-year period. Of these, approximately 1.92 crore beneficiaries are expected to be first-time entrants into the workforce. By supporting both employees and employers, the scheme is playing a transformative role in expanding formal employment, strengthening social security coverage, and advancing the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
