"Narendra Modi to address Global Meet of Emerging Markets Forum on 14th October 2013 "

On Monday 14th October 2013 Shri Narendra Modi will address the 2013 Global Meeting of the Emerging Markets Forum via video conferencing. Shri Modi’s speech will commence at 8:30 AM local time (which is 6:30 PM IST). Shri Modi will speak on ‘Effective Governance: Getting Results in a Democracy.’

The Emerging Markets Forum was is a non-profit initiative that was created to bring together high-level government personalities and corporate leaders to discuss key issues related to the emerging markets.

Apart from Shri Modi several leaders from across the world would address the Global Meeting 2013. This includes Mr. Horst Koehler, the former President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Raila Odinga, the former Prime Minister of Kenya and Mr. Carlos Mesa, who served as the President of Bolivia.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi attended the National Conference of Chief Secretaries at New Delhi, today. "Had insightful discussions on various issues relating to governance and reforms during the National Conference of Chief Secretaries being held in Delhi", Shri Modi stated.
