Narendra Modi dares Gujarat-bashers to disturb peace and unity, brotherhood and bonhomie, prevailing for the last decade
Dedicating the central jail at Surat to the people, he said that there might be only five to twenty-five anti-Gujarat elements vainly trying all tricks of the trade and mischief, prescribing poison into the society to create afresh hatred between man and man.
Mr. Modi challenges such disturbing elements to try to create rift in the society. However, he exuded confidence that they would not succeed in their sinister design, because the state has laid stronger foundation of brotherhood and bonhomie. It has resulted in the state gather inherent strength to attain new heights of development.
Describing the new jail as the country’s most hi-tech and model one, he said it combines technology with humanity for reforming the inmates.
Mr. Modi said that he has invited the Human Rights Commission to study the system in the central jail and satisfy themselves. He was particularly critical about the Gujarat-bashers who try to malign the state on the human rights count.

सूरत, रविवार: मुख्यमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने गुजरात में शांति का एक पूरा दशक बीतने के बावजूद गुजरात को बदनाम करने का निरंतर प्रयास कर रहे मुट्ठीभर गुजरात विरोधी तत्वों को सीधी चुनौती पेश करते हुए कहा कि विरोधी चाहे जितना आजमा लें लेकिन वे गुजरात में शांति के माहौल को दूषित नहीं कर पाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे तत्व गुजरात की एकता को तोडऩे में नाकामयाब साबित होंगे और गुजरात के समाज में प्रवर्तमान भाईचारे की भावना में दुशमनी का जहर नहीं घोल सकेंगे।रविवार को सूरत में मध्यस्थ जेल के लोकार्पण समारोह में आक्रोश व्यक्त करते हुए श्री मोदी ने कहा कि पिछले दस वर्ष में छह करोड़ गुजरातियों ने शांति, एकता और भाईचारे की अंत:ऊर्जा से विकास की नई ऊंचाइयों का कीर्तिमान गढ़ा है। इसके बावजूद चंद गुजरात विरोधी तत्व शांति का माहौल दूषित करने के लिए कई पैंतरे कर रहे हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि गुजरात की शांति, एकता और भाईचारे की बुनियाद इतनी मजबूत है कि ऐसे तत्वों का गुजरात को तबाह करने का कोई भी मंसूबा कामयाब होने वाला नहीं है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने मध्यस्थ जेल को देश की सर्वप्रथम हाईटेक आदर्श जेल का मॉडल करार देते हुए कहा कि इस जेल में कैदियों के जीवन सुधार की मानवीय संवेदनाओं के साथ टेक्नोलॉजी का अधिकतम विनियोग हुआ है। मानव अधिकारों की रक्षा करने को लेकर गुजरात कितना जागृत है इसकी अनुभूति करने के लिए इस मध्यस्थ जेल का दौरा कर इसका अभ्यास करने का आमंत्रण श्री मोदी ने राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार आयोग को दिया।
इस मौके पर उन्होंने गाहे-बगाहे मानव अधिकारों के नाम पर गुजरात को बदनाम करने वाले तत्वों की विकृत मानसिकता की सख्त आलोचना की।
