আফগানিস্তানেরপ্রেসিডেন্ট ডঃ মহম্মদ আসরফ গনি আজ টেলিফোনে কথা বলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্রমোদীর সঙ্গে। জম্মু ও কাশ্মীরের উরি’তে জঙ্গীহানার ঘটনায় গভীর উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেনতিনি। সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করেন এই ঘটনার জন্য।
প্রেসিডেন্টগনি আন্তঃসীমান্তবর্তী এলাকায় জঙ্গীহানার কঠোর নিন্দা করেন এবং সন্ত্রাস দমনেআফগানিস্তানের পূর্ণ সমর্থন ও সহযোগিতার কথা দৃঢ়তার সঙ্গে ব্যক্ত করেন।
উরিরঘটনায় যাঁরা শহীদ হয়েছেন, তাঁদের শোক-সন্তপ্ত পরিবার-পরিজনদের উদ্দেশে গভীরসমবেদনাও প্রকাশ করেন তিনি।
আফগানিস্তানেরএই সমর্থন ও সহযোগিতার প্রস্তাবে প্রেসিডেন্ট গনি’কে ধন্যবাদ জানান ভারতেরপ্রধানমন্ত্রী।
