CM comes down heavily for Congress’ anti-Gujarat attitude be it obstructing gates on Sardar Sarovar, GUJCOC or IT notices to those who come to invest in Gujarat

In their 40 years Congress built 10 lakh houses whereas in the last 10 years we built 22 lakh houses: Shri Modi

On the evening of 4th December 2012 Shri Narendra Modi addressed people across 52 places of Gujarat simultaneously using 3D Projection technology. In a detailed speech, Shri Modi spoke about the development of Gujarat and came down heavily on the Congress for their anti-Gujarat mindset. He said that it is no longer a BJP wave but a BJP super storm in Gujarat, which will uproot the Congress from Gujarat. ‘The Congress should not only be defeated but also punished” he affirmed. He also minced no words in stating that if there is any injustice from Delhi to Gujarat, he will stand as a wall and not let the people of Gujarat bear any injustice.

“We will do more than what we did in the last 11 years in the coming 5 years!” Shri Modi declared and added that it is for the people to decide if they wanted Government of Lords or Servants. “I am a servant for you! I want to see you happy and your future generations happy” he said.

Shri Modi expressed joy that such usage of technology is happening for the first time for an election and that too on the soil of Gujarat. “It’s a matter of pride that such an event is happening in Gujarat. As Gujaratis we should be proud” he pointed out.

He said that the upcoming elections are not only about electing an MLA but to determine who we will give our Gujarat’s future to.

On the development in Gujarat, Shri Modi shared that people congratulate him for the development but it is the 6 crore people of Gujarat who need to be congratulated for the development of the state. He congratulated the people of Gujarat for their farsightedness and the fact that they have placed their faith in political stability above everything else due to which this development has been possible.

Shri Modi recalled that he had promised the people 11 years ago that he would work hard for their development and said that his 11 year record is in front on them- he has devoted every moment of his time for the people of Gujarat.

Coming down heavily on the Congress, Shri Modi termed it as an expert at cheating. “Years back they said Garibi Hatao but did that happen?” he questioned. He further said that the Congress is a party that takes the people for granted while the BJP leaves no stone unturned to work for the happiness of the people.

He spoke at length about the failure of the Congress to be a constructive opposition in Gujarat. He opined, “Congress believes in opposition for opposition’s sake. They only go to places where they get political mileage.”

Directly accusing the Congress of being anti-youth, the Chief Minister shared how the party opposed the Khel Mahakumbh and further added that the number of Gold Medals won in the last 10 years is more than the Gold Medals won in the preceding 40 years of Congress rule.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the youth will not accept the politics of the Congress. He affirmed, “You are the future. If you (Congress) take your negative politics to them, they will reject it!” and declared that the BJP as well as him are always at the service of the youth while the Congress only wants a group of yes-men. Shri Modi talked about the Government initiative through which the Government will become the guarantor for any youngster who seeks a loan to realize his or her dreams. “We are doing this because we have faith in the youth of Gujarat!” the Chief Minister pointed out.

He spoke about how Sakhi Mandals have brought in a qualitative change in the lives of Gujarat’s women.

Shri Modi said that gone are the days when curfews and disturbances were common in Gujarat and further declared that there is peace and security in the state. Yet, the Congress is spreading lies about the state. “Are the people of Gujarat law breakers? Congress should think 5 times before making such allegations!” he warned the Congress. “Today a 10 year old has forgotten the meaning of curfew, it’s a life of happiness and peace; everyone wants development” he declared. He also urged the Congress to avoid saying that the money for Gujarat’s development is due to Delhi and questioned them of the Rs. 60,000 crore that Gujarat contributes to the coffers of New Delhi.

The Chief Minister gave examples of the UPA’s anti-Gujarat attitude be it the gates of the Sardar Sarovar, the giving of IT notices to those who come to invest in Vibrant Gujarat or the fact that the UPA is obstructing GUJCOC despite the elected state assembly passing it 4 times. He also shared that in the last 10 years the state Government has built 22 lakh homes whereas in their 40 years the Congress built 10 lakh homes. Shri Modi pointed that over the last years a new middle class has emerged and it is the duty of the state to take care of their development.

The 3D interactions drew record number of people in all the venues. Cutting across age or community, they all came to listen to Shri Modi’s inspiring words and express their solidarity with him and the BJP

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi chaired the 47th Annual General Meeting of the Prime Ministers Museum and Library (PMML) Society at Teen Murti Bhawan in New Delhi, earlier today.

During the meeting, Prime Minister emphasised that museums hold immense significance across the world and have the power to make us experience history. He underlined the need to make continuous efforts to generate public interest in museums and to enhance their prestige in society.

Prime Minister put forward a visionary concept of a “Museum Map of India”, aimed at providing a unified cultural and informational landscape of museums across the country.

Underlining the importance of increased use of technology, Prime Minister suggested development of a comprehensive national database of all museums in the country, incorporating key metrics such as footfall and quality standards. He also suggested organising regular workshops for those managing and operating museums, with a focus on capacity building and knowledge sharing.

Prime Minister highlighted the need for fresh initiatives, such as creation of a committee consisting of five persons from each State below the age of 35 years in order to bring out fresh ideas and perspectives on museums in the country.

Prime Minister also highlighted that with the creation of museum on all Prime Ministers, justice has been done to their legacy, including that of the first Prime Minister of India Shri Jawaharlal Nehru. This was not the case before 2014.

Prime Minister also asked for engaging top influencers to visit the museums and also invite the officials of various embassies to Indian museums to increase the awareness about the rich heritage preserved in Indian Museums.

Prime Minister advised that a compilation of all the legal battles and documents relating to the Emergency period may be prepared and preserved in light of the completion of 50 years after the Emergency.

Prime Minister highlighted the importance of preserving and documenting the present in a systematic manner. He noted that by strengthening our current systems and records, we can ensure that future generations and researchers in particular will be able to study and understand this period without difficulty.

Other Members of the PMML Society also shared their suggestions and insights for further enhancement of the Museum and Library.

Prime Minister also planted a Kapur (Cinnamomum camphora) tree in the lawns of Teen Murti House, symbolizing growth, heritage, and sustainability.
