The Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal, Shri B.D. Sharma, called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and handed over a demand draft of Rs 2.12 crore towards the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund, for flood-affected people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Founder Chancellor, SRM University, Chennai, Dr. T.R. Pachamuthu, called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and handed over a demand draft for Rs. 1 crore for the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund.
The Chairman, ITC, Shri Y.C. Deveshwar, called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and handed over a cheque for Rs. 10 crore for the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund. The employees of ITC have also contributed a day`s salary to the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund.
The Prime Minister had recently appealed to the people to donate generously to the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund, for the flood-affected people of Jammu and Kashmir.
