Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam on Parakram Diwas, recalls Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s ideals of courage and valour
January 23, 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose teaches us the true meaning of bravery and valour. He noted that Parakram Diwas reminds the nation of Netaji’s indomitable courage, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to the motherland.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam reflecting the highest ideals of heroism-

The Subhashitam conveys that the greatest valour lies in protecting the lives of others; one who takes lives is not a hero, but the one who gives life and protects the needy is the true brave.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
