PM Modi’s grand rallies electrify Muzaffarpur and Chhapra, Bihar

PM Modi addressed two massive public meetings in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra, Bihar. Beginning his first rally, he noted that this was his first public meeting after the Chhath Mahaparv. He said that Chhath is the pride of Bihar and of the entire nation—a festival celebrated not just across India, but around the world. PM Modi also announced a campaign to promote Chhath songs nationwide, stating, “The public will choose the best tracks, and their creators will be awarded - helping preserve and celebrate the tradition of Chhath.”


PM Modi strongly criticized RJD-Congress for insulting Chhath Puja, saying that Chhath is the pride of Bihar and the entire nation, a festival filled with devotion, equality, motherhood and social harmony. He said the government is working to get Chhath recognized by UNESCO as a Festival of Humanity so the world can learn from its values. But RJD–Congress have called this sacred worship of Chhathi Maiya a ‘drama’.


“Women who fast without water and stand in the river offering prayers are being mocked. PM Modi said this is an insult to every devotee and Bihar will never accept this disrespect. Bihar is the land of honor and those who abused Chhath Puja will never be forgiven,” he added.


PM Modi hit out at the RJD-Congress alliance, saying they can never develop Bihar. He reiterated, “They ruled the state for years, yet only betrayed the people. Their identity is built on five things - guns, cruelty, bitterness, misrule and corruption. Where violence and cruelty prevail, law collapses. Where they spread bitterness, social harmony breaks. Where their misrule remains, development comes to a halt. And where corruption thrives, social justice disappears - the poor lose their rights while only a few families prosper.”


Highlighting NDA’s commitment, PM Modi said, “We are determined to create ample opportunities in Bihar for education, employment, healthcare and irrigation. The sons and daughters of Bihar will no longer need to migrate. They will work in Bihar and make Bihar proud.”

PM Modi also talked about the ongoing GST Bachat Utsav, noting that families across Bihar are saving significantly through it. Calling out the RJD’s past misrule, he stated that during the era of jungle raj, even car showrooms and vehicle shops had to shut down because RJD leaders would have their supporters loot them. If someone bought a new vehicle, RJD goons would chase them. He added that such misdeeds by the RJD-Congress alliance pushed lakhs of young people into unemployment.

Exposing the RJD’s track record, PM Modi recalled the days of jungle raj, saying it showed how dangerous the situation once was. He reminded the people of Muzaffarpur of the infamous Golu kidnapping case during the RJD regime. In 2001, a young school-going child was abducted in broad daylight and later brutally killed. Such incidents, he said, reflected the grim and lawless condition of Bihar under RJD jungle raj.


Taking a direct swipe at the RJD-Congress, PM Modi said that in Bihar’s election season, two ‘yuvraajs’ have opened a shop of false promises- one from India’s most corrupt political family, and the other from Bihar’s most corrupt family. Both, he pointed out, are out on bail in multi-thousand crore scams.

He added that these ‘naamdaars’ spent their speeches abusing him, but this is nothing new. For the elite political families, insulting the poor, the backward and the disadvantaged has always been their birthright, he said. “They even abuse my mother and my family, only because they cannot tolerate that a person from a humble, backward background has reached here.”


The Prime Minister remarked that the real news of this election is not the abuses hurled at him, but the open infighting between RJD and Congress. Their alliance, he said, is like oil and water - pretending unity on stage, fighting each other at the ground level. “What has brought them together is only the greed for power, so that these corrupt families can once again loot Bihar.”

He said every survey clearly shows that RJD-Congress are heading towards their worst defeat, while the NDA is set for a historic victory. He added that the opposition’s manifesto is full of lies, so exaggerated that even their own supporters cannot digest it, and Bihar’s youth are openly mocking them on social media.

While addressing his second rally of the day in Chhapra, PM Modi said that when he sees the respect for Bhojpuri across India and the world, it fills him with immense pride. He recalled his recent visit to Trinidad and Tobago, where the moment he stepped off the plane, it felt as though he was standing on the ghats of Banaras or Chhapra. People welcomed everyone with Bhojpuri Chautaal, he said, adding that the sense of pride in being connected to Bihar and the Bhojpuri language is truly exceptional.

Taking a sharp aim at the opposition, PM Modi said, “Be it the Lantern-wallahs, the Congress party or their INDI allies, they have repeatedly insulted Bihar and its people. A Congress Chief Minister in Punjab openly declared that Bihar’s people would not be allowed in his state - and the members of the Gandhi family applauded. In Telangana and Karnataka, Congress leaders hurl abuses at Biharis. In Tamil Nadu, DMK leaders harass hardworking people from Bihar. This election, they have crossed all limits, the same leaders who insulted Bihar in their states have now been invited by the Congress to campaign here.”


PM Modi launched a sharp attack on the INDI alliance, stating that the RJD-Congress bloc, driven by vote-bank appeasement and opposed to faith and development, can never respect the beliefs of the people. He said that after 500 years of waiting, a grand Ram Temple has finally been built in Ayodhya and millions from across India and abroad, including the poor, Dalits and backward communities, have visited for Ram Lalla’s darshan. Yet RJD-Congress leaders avoid going there because they fear it will upset their appeasement politics.


PM Modi accused the RJD-Congress-Left of spreading lies about industry and jobs. He recalled that Madhepura and Marhowrah were once flourishing industrial hubs, famous nationwide for products like the ‘lemonchus’ candy, but jungle raj under RJD destroyed factories through extortion, goonda tax and fear, leaving thousands unemployed. He contrasted this with the NDA era, where engines made in Marhowrah’s rail factory are now being exported to Africa, and assured that Bihar will once again become a proud ‘Made in India’ center, with jobs for Bihar’s youth in Bihar.


Highlighting women empowerment, PM Modi said NDA initiatives like Drone Didis, Bank Sakhis, Lakhpati Didis have strengthened women across Bihar and this support will be expanded when NDA returns to power. He also emphasized the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, which provides skill training, modern tools and low-interest loans to traditional artisans, many of whom are women, ensuring self-reliant livelihoods.

Concluding his speech, he said that now Bihar will not stop, it will only move forward with new speed and momentum. With the voting day on November 6 approaching, he especially urged those who have returned home for Chhath to participate. He said this election is crucial for building a Viksit Bihar. Therefore, everyone must contribute to this effort and cast their vote.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed party leaders and karyakartas during the felicitation ceremony of the newly elected BJP President, Nitin Nabin, at the party headquarters in New Delhi. Congratulating Nitin Nabin, the Prime Minister said, “The organisational election process reflects the BJP’s commitment to internal democracy, discipline and a karyakarta-centric culture. I congratulate karyakartas across the country for strengthening this democratic exercise.”

Highlighting the BJP’s leadership legacy, Prime Minister Modi said, “From Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and other senior leaders, the BJP has grown through experience, service and organisational strength. Three consecutive BJP-NDA governments at the Centre reflect this rich tradition.”

Speaking on the leadership of Nitin Nabin, the PM remarked, “Organisational expansion and karyakarta development are the BJP’s core priorities.” He emphasised that the party follows a worker-first philosophy, adding that Nitin Nabin’s simplicity, organisational experience and youthful energy would further strengthen the party as India enters a crucial phase on the path to a Viksit Bharat.

Referring to the BJP’s ideological foundation, Prime Minister Modi said, “As the Jan Sangh completes 75 years, the BJP stands today as the world’s largest political party. Leadership may change, but the party’s ideals, direction and commitment to the nation remain constant.”

On public trust and electoral growth, the Prime Minister observed that over the past 11 years, the BJP has consistently expanded its footprint across states and institutions. He noted that the party has gained the confidence of citizens from Panchayats to Parliament, reflecting sustained public faith in its governance model. He said, “Over the past 11 years, the BJP has formed governments for the first time on its own in Haryana, Assam, Tripura and Odisha. In West Bengal and Telangana, the BJP has emerged as a strong and influential voice of the people.”

“Over the past one-and-a-half to two years, public trust in the BJP has strengthened further. Whether in Assembly elections or local body polls, the BJP’s strike rate has been unprecedented. During this period, Assembly elections were held in six states, of which the BJP-NDA won four,” he added.

Describing the BJP’s evolution into a party of governance, he said the party today represents stability, good governance and sensitivity. He highlighted that the BJP has focused on social justice and last-mile delivery of welfare schemes, ensuring benefits reach the poorest and most marginalised sections of society.

“Today, the BJP is also a party of governance. After independence, the country has seen different models of governance - the Congress's dynastic politics model, the Left's model, the regional parties' model, the era of unstable governments... but today the country is witnessing the BJP's model of stability, good governance, and development,” he said.

PM Modi asserted, “The people of the country are committed to building a Developed India by 2047. That is why the reform journey we began over the past 11 years has now become a Reform Express. We must accelerate the pace of reforms at the state and city levels wherever BJP-NDA governments are in power.”

Addressing national challenges, Prime Minister Modi said, “Decisive actions on Article 370, Triple Talaq and internal security show our resolve to put national interest first.” He added that combating challenges like infiltration, urban naxalism and dynastic politics remained a priority.

Concluding his address, the Prime Minister said, “The true strength of the BJP lies in its karyakartas, especially at the booth level. Connecting with every citizen, ensuring last-mile delivery of welfare schemes and working collectively for a Viksit Bharat remain our shared responsibility.”
