Upon arrival at the Waterkloof Air Force Base, PM Modi was accorded a ceremonious welcome by Deputy President, Paul Mashatile of South Africa. PM Modi’s three-day visit to South Africa entails participation in the 15th BRICS Summit and engagements with leaders of BRICS and invited countries in plurilateral and bilateral settings.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today shared Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that humanity may live in harmony with the Earth, as earth is the nurturing mother of all life and the moral order that sustains her should be respected.
The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-
विश्वस्वं मातरमोषधीनां ध्रुवां भूमिं पृथिवीं धर्मणा धृताम्।
शिवां स्योनामनु चरेम विश्वहा॥
