The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on Thursday previewed the exhibition – “Uniting India – Sardar Patel” set up by the Ministry of Culture, at National Science Centre in New Delhi.
This digital exhibition, which showcases the integration of India, and the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, has been prepared with the inspiration of the Prime Minister.
The exhibition has around 30 exhibits, and features about 20 different kinds of interactive and media experiences. It provides visitors with a range of opportunities to engage with various digital installations which explain the role of Sardar Patel in the unification of India. Technologies like 3D films (without glasses), Holographic Projection, Kinetic Projection, Oculus based Virtual Reality experience etc have been used in the exhibition.
The relevant documentation has been sourced by the Ministry of Culture, from the National Archives of India. The design of the exhibition has been conceptualized by the National Institute of Design.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister on October 31, 2016 – the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel.
