Odisha has pledged to get rid of its ineffective government: PM Modi in Odisha
The Opposition parties like Congress and BJD have no vision to lead the country into 21st century: PM Modi
Only a BJP government can ensure stability, security and growth for our country in a transparent manner: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two major public meetings in Sambalpur and Bhubaneswar in Odisha today. The visit also saw PM Modi take a roysing Road-show in the capital Bhubneswar in the evening before addressing a huge gathering of supporters there.

Applauding the growing support for the BJP in Odisha, Prime Minister Modi said, “The huge amount of support I see here tells me that the people of Odisha have pledged to get rid of their government and stand with the BJP during the upcoming state assembly elections as well as the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Like the rest of the country, they want the ‘double-engine of growth’ that comes with a BJP government both at the state and Centre levels.”

Taking on the Opposition parties including the Congress and BJD, PM Modi said, “The Opposition parties have no vision to take the country forward. They only want to remove Modi which is why they keep chanting ‘Modi Hatao’ day in and out. Ever since we assumed power in 2014, people have seen our work and now trust that only a BJP government can provide them stability, growth, security while also preserving the country’s traditions. The Congress attacked our faith and traditions by linking terrorism with Hindus, the ‘Hindu Terror’ conspiracy was propagated by the Congress in its attack against our religious traditions.”

Commenting on how the ‘New India’ under the BJP government has been taking shape, PM Modi said, “This ‘New India’ is totally different from its older version where our nation pleaded others with folded hands. Today’s India stands strong on its feet and does not tolerate any attacks made against it. This India is also making rapid development and it gives me immense satisfaction to inform that since 2014, BJP government at the Centre has invested nearly 3 lakh crore rupees in infrastructure development in Odisha alone. I am certain that the people will wholeheartedly stand besides our guiding mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ in Odisha in these elections.
