PM and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, at the Restricted Meeting, at Akasaka Palace, Tokyo

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today extended his heartfelt greetings to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami.

The Prime Minister highlighted the sanctity of the festival dedicated to nature’s beauty and divinity. He prayed for the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge and arts, to be bestowed upon everyone.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that, with the grace of Goddess Saraswati, the lives of all citizens remain eternally illuminated with learning, wisdom and intellect.

In a X post, Shri Modi said;

“आप सभी को प्रकृति की सुंदरता और दिव्यता को समर्पित पावन पर्व बसंत पंचमी की अनेकानेक शुभकामनाएं। ज्ञान और कला की देवी मां सरस्वती का आशीर्वाद हर किसी को प्राप्त हो। उनकी कृपा से सबका जीवन विद्या, विवेक और बुद्धि से सदैव आलोकित रहे, यही कामना है।”
