Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Dahej, he said Ro-Ro ferry service launched today will give a new dimension to tourism sector of our country.

Addressing the huge gathering in Dahej, Prime Minster said Ro-Ro ferry service will contribute immensely to lives of people in Ghogha-Dahej region. It will add to economic and social development.

The Prime Minister said that we can reduce the cost of logistics by promoting water transport. He added that Ghogha-Dahej Ro-Ro ferry service will start a new chapter in coastal tourism.

PM Modi stressed that Industries should not be located far from coasts, this will help in ease of doing business and cut down logistics cost. Also, Government is focusing on infrastructure and connectivity, these are two key pillars for the country's development, shared the PM.

He also talked about modernisation of transportation system, he said that entire transportation framework must be modern and integrated.
