నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ జయంతి అయిన పరాక్రమ్ దివస్ సందర్భంగా ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ఆయనకు నివాళి అర్పించారు. నేతాజీ అచంచలమైన ధైర్యాన్నీ, దృఢ సంకల్పాన్నీ, దేశం కోసం ఆయన అసమానమైన సేవలనూ ప్రధానమంత్రి స్మరించుకున్నారు. నేతాజీ వెన్నుచూపని నాయకత్వ పటిమ, దేశభక్తి.. బలమైన భారత నిర్మాణం దిశగా తరతరాలకు స్ఫూర్తినిస్తున్నాయని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.

నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ తనకెప్పుడూ ఎంతో స్ఫూర్తినిస్తారని ప్రధానమంత్రి చెప్పారు. 2009 జనవరి 23న గుజరాత్ ఐటీ రంగం రూపురేఖలు మార్చేలా రూపొందించిన ఇ-గ్రామ్ విశ్వగ్రామ్ యోజనను ప్రారంభించిన సందర్భాన్ని ఆయన గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు. నేతాజీ జీవితంలో ప్రత్యేక స్థానమున్న హరిపుర నుంచే ఈ పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించినట్టు తెలిపారు. నాడు హరిపుర ప్రజలు తనకు ఆత్మీయంగా స్వాగతం పలికారని, ఒకప్పుడు నేతాజీ ప్రయాణించిన రోడ్డులోనే ఊరేగింపు ఏర్పాటు చేశారని శ్రీ మోదీ నాటి జ్ఞాపకాలను ప్రజలతో పంచుకున్నారు.

2012లో ఆజాద్ హింద్ ఫౌజ్ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా అహ్మదాబాద్‌లో నిర్వహించిన భారీ కార్యక్రమాన్ని కూడా ప్రధానమంత్రి గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు. లోక్‌సభ మాజీ స్పీకర్ శ్రీ పి.ఎ. సంగ్మా సహా నేతాజీ బోస్ నుంచి స్పూర్తిని పొందిన అనేకమంది ఆ కార్యక్రమానికి హాజరైనట్టు ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.

గత పాలకుల గురించి మాట్లాడుతూ.. దశాబ్దాల పాటు దేశాన్ని ఏలిన వారికి నేతాజీ సేవలను గుర్తించే ఉద్దేశం లేదన్నారు. అందుకే ఆయనను విస్మరించే ప్రయత్నాలు జరిగాయని విమర్శించారు. కానీ ఇప్పుడు పరిస్థితి వేరన్నారు. ప్రతి సందర్భంలోనూ నేతాజీ జీవితాన్నీ, ఆయన ఆదర్శాలనూ ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకెళ్లేందుకు తాము కృషి చేస్తున్నామని స్పష్టం చేశారు. నేతాజీ బోస్‌కు సంబంధించిన ఫైళ్లనూ, పత్రాలనూ బహిర్గతం చేయడమన్నది ఈ దిశగా ఒక చరిత్రాత్మక ముందడుగుగా ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.

2018 సంవత్సరాన్ని రెండు అంశాలు ప్రత్యేకంగా నిలిపాయని ప్రధానమంత్రి గుర్తు చేసుకున్నారు. ఆజాద్ హింద్ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని స్థాపించి 75 ఏళ్లు పూర్తయిన సందర్భంగా ఎర్రకోట వద్ద వేడుకలు జరిగాయనీ, అక్కడ త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని ఎగరేసే అవకాశం తనకు లభించిందనీ చెప్పారు. ఆ సందర్భంగా ఐఎన్ఏ మాజీ సైనికుడు లాల్తీ రాంజీతో కూడా మాట్లాడినట్టు గుర్తు చేసుకున్నారు.

అండమాన్ నికోబార్ దీవుల్లోని శ్రీ విజయపురం (అప్పటి పోర్ట్ బ్లెయిర్)లో సుభాష్ బాబు జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని ఎగరేసి 75 ఏళ్లు పూర్తయిన సందర్భంగా, అక్కడ త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించిన సందర్భాన్నీ ప్రధానమంత్రి గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు. అక్కడ మూడు ప్రముఖ దీవుల పేర్లను మార్చామనీ, అందులో భాగంగా రాస్ ఐలాండ్‌కు నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ ద్వీపంగా పేరుపెట్టామనీ ఆయన చెప్పారు.

ఎర్రకోటలోని క్రాంతి మందిర్ మ్యూజియంలో నేతాజీ బోస్ ధరించిన టోపీతోపాటు.. ఆయనకూ, ఆజాద్ హింద్ ఫౌజుకూ సంబంధించి కీలకమైన చారిత్రక ఆధారాలు ఉన్నాయని ప్రధానమంత్రి వివరించారు. నేతాజీ చరిత్రాత్మక సేవల స్మృతులను పరిరక్షించేందుకూ, ప్రజల్లో అవగాహనను మరింతగా పెంపొందించేందుకూ తమ కృషిలో ఇది భాగమన్నారు.

నేతాజీ బోస్‌ గౌరవార్థం ఆయన జయంతిని పరాక్రమ దివస్‌గా ప్రకటించినట్టు ప్రధానమంత్రి తెలిపారు.

వలసవాద మనస్తత్వాన్ని విడనాడాలన్న సంకల్పానికి, నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ పట్ల గౌరవ భావాన్ని చాటే ఓ అద్భుతమైన ఉదాహరణను ప్రధానమంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు. దేశ రాజధాని నడిబొడ్డున, ఇండియా గేట్ పక్కనే నేతాజీ బోస్ భారీ విగ్రహ ప్రతిష్ఠ నిర్ణయాన్ని ఆయన గుర్తుచేశారు. ఈ విగ్రహం భావితరాలకు గొప్ప స్ఫూర్తి ఇస్తుందన్నారు.

సామాజిక మాధ్యమం ‘ఎక్స్’లో వరుస పోస్టుల్లో ప్రధానమంత్రి ఇలా పేర్కొన్నారు:

“నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ జయంతి అయిన పరాక్రమ దివస్ సందర్భంగా.. ఆయన అచంచలమైన ధైర్యం, దృఢ సంకల్పం, దేశానికి ఆయన అందించిన అసమానమైన సేవలను స్మరించుకుందాం. వెన్నుచూపని నాయకత్వ పటిమకూ, అచంచలమైన దేశభక్తికీ ఆయన ప్రతిరూపం. బలమైన భారత నిర్మాణం దిశగా.. ఆయన ఆదర్శాలు తరతరాలకూ స్ఫూర్తినిస్తాయి.”

“నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ ఎల్లవేళలా నాకు గొప్ప స్ఫూర్తిప్రదాత. 2009 జనవరి 23న ‘ఇ-గ్రామ్ విశ్వగ్రామ్ యోజన’ను ప్రారంభించాం. గుజరాత్ ఐటీ రంగం రూపురేఖలు మార్చే సంకల్పంతో రూపొందించిన ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక పథకమిది. నేతాజీ జీవితంలో ప్రత్యేక స్థానమున్న హరిపుర నుంచి ఈ పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించాం. హరిపుర ప్రజలు నాకు స్వాగతం పలికిన తీరునూ, ఒకప్పుడు నేతాజీ ప్రయాణించిన రోడ్డులోనే ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఊరేగింపునూ నేను ఎన్నటికీ మరచిపోలేను.”

“2012లో ఆజాద్ హింద్ ఫౌజీ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా అహ్మదాబాద్‌లో భారీ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించాం. లోక్‌సభ మాజీ స్పీకర్ శ్రీ పి.ఎ. సంగ్మా సహా నేతాజీ బోస్ నుంచి స్పూర్తిని పొందిన అనేకమంది ఆ కార్యక్రమానికి హాజరయ్యారు.”

“దశాబ్దాల పాటు దేశాన్ని ఏలిన వారికి నేతాజీ బోస్ అద్భుత కృషిని స్మరించుకునే ఉద్దేశం లేకపోయింది. అందుకే ఆయనను విస్మరించే ప్రయత్నాలు జరిగాయి. కానీ మా దృక్పథం అందుకు భిన్నమైనది. అవకాశమున్న ప్రతి సందర్భంలోనూ ఆయన జీవితాన్ని, ఆదర్శాలను మేం ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకెళ్లాం. నేతాజీ బోస్‌కు సంబంధించిన ఫైళ్లనూ, పత్రాలనూ బహిర్గతం చేయడం.. ఈ దిశగా ఒక చరిత్రాత్మక ముందడుగు.”

“రెండు అంశాలు 2018 సంవత్సరాన్ని ప్రత్యేకంగా నిలిపాయి:

ఆజాద్ హింద్ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని స్థాపించి 75 ఏళ్లు పూర్తయిన సందర్భంగా ఎర్రకోట వద్ద వేడుకలు జరిగాయి. అక్కడ త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని ఎగరేసే అవకాశం కూడా నాకు లభించింది. ఐఎన్ఏ మాజీ సైనికుడు లాల్తీ రాంజీతో సంభాషణ నాకెన్నటికీ గుర్తుండిపోతుంది.

అండమాన్ నికోబార్ దీవుల్లోని శ్రీవిజయపురం (అప్పటి పోర్ట్ బ్లెయిర్)లో సుభాష్ బాబు జాతీయ పతాకాన్ని ఎగరేసి 75 ఏళ్లు పూర్తయిన సందర్భంగా, అక్కడ త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించాం. అక్కడి మూడు ప్రముఖ దీవుల పేర్లను కూడా మార్చాం. అందులో భాగంగా రాస్ ఐలాండ్‌కు నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ ద్వీపంగా పేరుపెట్టాం.”

‘‘ఎర్రకోటలోని క్రాంతి మందిర్ మ్యూజియంలో నేతాజీ బోస్ ధరించిన టోపీతోపాటు.. ఆయనకూ, ఆజాద్ హింద్ ఫౌజుకూ సంబంధించి కీలకమైన చారిత్రక ఆధారాలు ఉన్నాయి. నేతాజీ చరిత్రాత్మక సేవల స్మృతులను పరిరక్షించేందుకూ, ప్రజల్లో అవగాహనను మరింతగా పెంపొందించేందుకూ మేం చేస్తున్న కృషిలో ఇది భాగం.’’

‘‘నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్‌ గౌరవార్థం ఆయన జయంతిని పరాక్రమ దివస్‌గా ప్రకటించాం. 2021లో కలకత్తాలోని నేతాజీ భవన్‌ను నేను సందర్శించాను. అక్కడి నుండే నేతాజీ తన మహా నిష్క్రమణకు (గ్రేట్ ఎస్కేప్) నాందిపలికారు.’’

‘‘వలసవాద మనస్తత్వాన్ని విడనాడాలన్న మా సంకల్పానికీ, నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ పట్ల మా గౌరవ భావానికీ... దేశ రాజధాని నడిబొడ్డున, ఇండియా గేట్ పక్కనే ఆయన భారీ విగ్రహాన్ని నెలకొల్పాలన్న నిర్ణయం ఓ అద్భుత ఉదాహరణ. ఈ విగ్రహం భావితరాల్లో స్ఫూర్తిని నింపుతుంది.”

 

“Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose has always inspired me greatly. On 23rd January 2009, the e-Gram Vishwagram Yojana was launched. This was a pioneering scheme aimed at transforming Gujarat’s IT landscape. The scheme was launched from Haripura, which had a special place in Netaji Bose’s life. I will never forget the manner in which the people of Haripura welcomed me and organised a procession on the same road where Netaji Bose had travelled.”

“In 2012, a big programme was organised in Ahmedabad to mark Azad Hind Fauj Day. It was attended by several people inspired by Netaji Bose, including former Lok Sabha Speaker Shri PA Sangma.”

“Recalling the glorious contribution of Netaji Bose did not fit the agenda of those who ruled the nation for decades. Hence, efforts were made to forget him. But our belief is different. At every possible juncture, we have popularised his life and ideals. A landmark step was the declassification of files and documents relating to him.”

“2018 was a landmark year for two reasons:

At the Red Fort, we marked the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Azad Hind Government. I had the opportunity to hoist the Tricolour too. Equally memorable was my interaction with INA Veteran Lalti Ram Ji.

In Srivijayapuram (then Port Blair) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Tricolour was unfurled to mark the 75th anniversary of Subhas Babu unfurling the Tricolour there. Three prominent islands were also renamed, including Ross Island, which became Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep.”

“At the Red Fort, the Kranti Mandir museum has substantial historical material relating to Netaji Bose and the INA, including the cap worn by Netaji Bose. This was also a part of our efforts to preserve and deepen knowledge of his historical contribution.”

“In honour of Netaji Bose, his birth anniversary has been declared as Parakram Diwas. In 2021, I visited Netaji Bhawan in Kolkata, from where Netaji began his great escape!”

“A shining example of our efforts to shed colonial mindset and our reverence to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose can be seen in our decision to place his grand statue next to India Gate, in the heart of the national capital! This grand statue will inspire people for generations to come!”

Prime Minister highlights 12 years of transformative initiatives centered on Garib Kalyan and human empowerment

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today highlighted that over the last 12 years, India has witnessed many transformations, stating that at the core of these changes is the welfare of the poor and downtrodden. The Prime Minister noted that the government has always been inspired by Antyodaya and its effort has always been to ensure that the benefits of development reach those who were left behind for decades.

Shri Modi observed that from Jan Dhan accounts and Direct Benefit Transfer to Swachh Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat and more, every initiative has been driven by a simple objective of ensuring people have dignity and opportunity.

The Prime Minister expressed gladness that technology has played a vital role in ensuring a better quality of life for the poor. Shri Modi pointed out that through Direct Benefit Transfer and digital platforms, support is reaching people directly and transparently. The Prime Minister affirmed that this has reduced leakages, improved efficiency, and strengthened trust in governance, adding that this is how the journey of furthering Garib Kalyan has become a collective movement towards human empowerment and realising the dream of a Viksit Bharat.
