PM Modi addresses emphatic election rallies in Mungeli and Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh

Ahead of the Assembly Election, PM Modi addressed two massive public meetings in Mungeli and Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh. He said, “It is clear in the 1st phase of polling that Chhattisgarh is going to be Congress-free soon.” He added that he is thankful to the youth and the women of the state who voted in favor of the state’s development. PM Modi stated, “Victory for BJP in Chhattisgarh means rapid development, fulfilling dreams of youth, empowerment of women, and an end to rampant corruption.”

On the state of Congress in Chhattisgarh, PM Modi said, “The youth, women, and farmers of the state of Chhattisgarh have made sure of the defeat of Congress.” PM Modi added that as the Congress has accepted its defeat it is now relying on falsity and is making false promises to the people of Chhattisgarh. He added that CM Baghel-led corruption by the Congress has betrayed the trust of all the voters who had helped the Congress form the Government.

On the various mathematical models of the Congress-led corruption, PM Modi said, “The Congress-led Rs. 508 crore corruption in the Mahadev Betting Scandal is very well known”. He added that there is even an audio file that showcases Congress-led corruption in seat allocation for contesting the elections in Chhattisgarh. PM Modi stated that Congress-led corruption has also resurfaced in its attempt at enabling political favouritism in the PSC exams. They have also fooled the women of the state by making them a false promise of an alcohol ban.

On the development of the state of Chhattisgarh, PM Modi said, “With the blessings of the people, BJP should form a Government in Chhattisgarh soon to facilitate robust development under a ‘Double-engine Sarkar.’ He added that Modi’s guarantee is the fulfilment of all guarantees. PM Modi said, “Congress only wants to make and keep people poor so that it can perpetually loot you all.”

On the hate of Congress for the people of India, PM Modi lamented, “Congress hates me and their increased levels of hatred has also made them hate my caste.” He added that the Congress’ hatred for the poor and downtrodden people of India is well-known. PM Modi said, “Congress even hated BR Ambedkar ensuring a premature end to his political career.” He added that their regressive mindset has made them not grant adequate opportunities to the Janjatiyas for their empowerment and development.

Highlighting the politics of appeasement of Congress, PM Modi said, “Congress can go to any extent for their appeasement politics. What they did with the Satnami community is an example of the same.” He added that Congress does not care for Dalits, Janjatiyas, and OBCs in India.

Highlighting Congress-led underdevelopment of India, PM Modi said that it is the Congress that is solely responsible for the poverty and underdevelopment in India. On the contrary, the BJP has enabled the exit of 13.5 crore people from poverty in just 5 years, PM Modi added. “It is Modi’s guarantee that has enabled people free ration, pucca houses, free health and quality medicines,” PM Modi said. He added, “How times have changed when under Rajiv Gandhi Government out of the Rs. 100 earmarked only Rs. 15 would reach people, while today medicines worth Rs. 100 are being sold at Rs. 20. This is Modi’s promise,” he added.

In his second rally in Mahasamund, PM Modi thanked the people of Chhattisgarh for ensuring the defeat of Congress here, he said, “Congratulations because the voting that took place in the first phase on 7th November has burst the balloon of lies of Congress. Today the whole of Chhattisgarh is saying in one voice – BJP is back. 7th and 17th November together are ensuring the departure of 'Kakka', who holds 30% of the Congress' share, from the government.”

“For the last 5 years, the Congress government here has stopped every work for the public's welfare. The only goal of Congress is to loot Chhattisgarh and fill its coffers. When the Congress government that looted Chhattisgarh will lose, when the BJP government that develops Chhattisgarh will come into power here, then Chhattisgarh will reach the height of development that this state deserves. As a result, Bhupesh Baghel faces formidable challenges in securing a position as an MLA in the upcoming elections,” he added.

Talking about Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage and natural beauty. PM Modi said, “Mahasamund has been the capital of South Kosal and has been the center of knowledge. BJP is engaged in extensive expansion of tourism related facilities and pilgrimage areas in the country. Wherever there are traces of Lord Ram, those places are being connected with modern facilities through the Ramayana Circuit Scheme. Similarly, under the Tribal Circuit Scheme, facilities are being developed in places related to tribal culture. When BJP government is formed here, this campaign will also gain momentum. This will provide thousands of jobs to the youth of Chhattisgarh.”


“BJP has ensured the development of the people while also preserving India’s local traditions and cultural heritage. Modi’s guarantee means the fulfilment of all guarantees,” added PM Modi. He appealed to all the voters to vote for the BJP to ensure steadfast commitment to the development of the state of Chhattisgarh.

हमारे पूर्व राष्ट्रपति श्रीमान रामनाथ कोविंद जी, लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष आदरणीय ओम बिरला जी, श्रीमती सविता कोविंद जी, सभाग्रह में सभी वरिष्ठ जन बैठे हैं, सबका उल्लेख नहीं कर पाऊंगा, लेकिन मेरे लिए बहुत आनंद है कि एक पारिवारिक कार्यक्रम लग रहा है।

भाइयों-बहनों,

आज हमें श्री रामनाथ कोविंद जी की आत्मकथा के विमोचन का अवसर मिला है। मुझे खुशी है कि मुझे भी इस कार्यक्रम का हिस्सा बनने का सौभाग्य मिला है। कोविंद जी से मेरा बहुत लंबा परिचय रहा है, उन्हें करीब से जानने का भी अवसर मिला और राष्ट्रपति के रूप में उनका मार्गदर्शन और इस सबके साथ-साथ उनका मेरे प्रति विशेष स्नेह, उनकी आत्मीयता, ये मेरी बहुत बड़ी पूंजी रही है। मैंने उनके जीवन को जितना समझा है, उनकी कार्यक्षमताओं को जितना जाना है, मैं पूरे विश्वास से कह सकता हूं कि श्री रामनाथ कोविंद जी की ऑटो-बायोग्राफ़ी अपने आप में भारतीय लोकतंत्र और भारतीय समाज के लिए एक धरोहर बनेगी। कोविंद जी की जीवन यात्रा, समाज और राष्ट्र के लिए उनका योगदान, ऐसा कितना कुछ है जिसके बारे में मैं विस्तार से बात कर सकता हूं, लेकिन बुक रिलीज़ में केवल ‘कर्टन रेज़र’ ही होना चाहिए। आप सब किताब का पूरा लाभ पढ़कर ही लें, तो ही ज्यादा अच्छा है।

साथियों,

कोविंद जी की जीवन यात्रा को आप उनके शब्दों में जानें, उनकी लेखनी को, उनके अनुभवों को देश की नई पीढ़ी पढ़े, इससे हर किसी को काफी कुछ सीखने को मिलेगा। मैं रामनाथ कोविंद जी को इस आत्मकथा के लिए बहुत-बहुत बधाई देता हूं।

साथियों,

कोविंद जी ने अपनी इस पुस्तक को बहुत ही सटीक नाम दिया है- “Triumph of the Indian Republic: My Life, My Struggles” कहने का भाव ये कि जीवन और जीवन के संघर्ष उनके व्यक्तिगत हैं, लेकिन उन संघर्षों के परिणामस्वरूप मिली जीत, भारत के गणतंत्र की है, भारत के लोकतंत्र की है।

साथियों,

हम सब अक्सर अनुभव करते हैं कि इंसान का एक स्वभाव होता है, लोग अपनी सफलता का श्रेय खुद को देते हैं और जीवन की मुश्किलों के लिए, कठिनाइयों के लिए समाज को जिम्मेदार ठहराते हैं। लेकिन, जब हृदय उदार हो, भारतीय संस्कार हों, तब व्यक्ति समाज की कमियाँ निकालने में समय नहीं गँवाता, वो उसके सकारात्मक पक्ष पर फोकस करता है, वो अपनी सफलता में समाज को बराबर का भागीदार मानता है। कोविंद जी की आत्मकथा और उसका शीर्षक इसके उदाहरण हैं। आप उनका जीवन देखिए, एक बेहद सामान्य परिवार में, कानपुर देहात में उनका जन्म हुआ। कोविंद जी ने अभी भी कुछ वर्णन किया और अपनी किताब में भी लिखा है, कैसे गर्मी के मौसम में एक दिन उनके घर में आग लग गई, उनकी माँ अपनी चिंता छोड़कर घर की चीजों को बचा रही थीं। आखिर, एक सामान्य परिवार में, माँ के लिए एक-एक चीज बच्चों के पालन-पोषण का जरिया होती है। उसी कोशिश में, आग में फंसकर उनकी माता जी की मृत्यु हो गई। आप कल्पना कर सकते हैं, छोटी सी उम्र में इस तरह की घटना, माँ को इस तरह खो देना, ये कितना दर्दनाक रहा होगा। मैं तो भाग्यशाली रहा हूं, मेरी मां 100 साल से भी अधिक जीवित रही और मुझे आशीर्वाद देती रही। उसके बावजूद भी, आज भी मैं मां की कमी महसूस करता हूं।

साथियों,

उनके जीवन का एक ऐसा दर्दनाक ये घटनाक्रम था, कोई भी इससे टूट सकता था, लेकिन कोविंद जी को उन मुश्किलों ने मजबूत किया। पड़ोस की एक माता जी ने उनके पालन-पोषण में मदद की। इससे उन्होंने समाज की एकता और सौहार्द की ताकत को समझा। इस घटना के बाद कोविंद जी के जीवन में उनके पिता की भूमिका और बड़ी हो गई और जिस तरह से उन्होंने अपने परिवार को संभाला, बच्चों को संस्कार दिये, इसीलिए, कोविंद जी अपने पिता को अपना हीरो मानते हैं।

साथियों,

बचपन के इन संघर्षों के बीच, कोविंद जी ने शिक्षा को, अपने सामर्थ्य को बढ़ाने का मार्ग बनाया। उन्होंने मेहनत की, उन्होंने संसाधनों की कमी को कमजोरी नहीं बनने दिया। और, एक ऐसे मुकाम तक पहुंचे, जिसकी कल्पना भी तब लोगों ने नहीं की थी। वो भारत जैसे विशाल देश के राष्ट्रपति बने।

साथियों,

इतने बड़े पद पर पहुंचने के बाद भी कोविंद जी का विनम्र व्यक्तित्व, उनकी सादगी ऐसे ही कायम रही। मुझे याद है प्रधानमंत्री के तौर पर मैं राष्ट्रपति भवन में उनसे मिलने जाता था। प्रोटोकॉल के हिसाब से जो बातें नहीं हो सकती हैं, वो बातें वो करते थे। वो प्रधानमंत्री को छोड़ने के लिए गाड़ी के दरवाजे तक आते थे। मैं शुरू में उनको प्रार्थना करता रहता था, प्लीज आप ऐसा मत कीजिए, लेकिन उन्होंने जीवन के आखिर तक अपनी उस विनम्रता को कभी छोड़ा नहीं। राष्ट्रपति बनने के बाद जब वे अपने गांव परौंख गए, तो उन्होंने वहाँ अपने गुरुओं के पैर छूकर उन्हें प्रणाम किया। गाँव की मिट्टी को नमन करके उन्होंने गाँव के सामान्य लोगों का धन्यवाद किया। पूरे देश ने वो भावुक दृश्य देखा था। उनके इस आचरण ने दुनिया के सामने भारत के संस्कारों की ऐसी तस्वीर सामने रखी, जिस पर हर भारतवासी गर्व करता है।

साथियों,

गुलामी के सैकड़ों साल में हमारे देश ने आर्थिक और सामाजिक रूप से बहुत कुछ खोया था। हमारे पूर्वजों ने सदियों तक संघर्ष किया। महात्मा गांधी, बाबा साहब अंबेडकर, ज्योतिबा फुले, सावित्रबाई फुले, ऐसी कितनी ही महान विभूतियों ने भारत के नवनिर्माण का सपना देखा था। एक ऐसा भारत जहां गरीब से गरीब, वंचित से वंचित को शिखर तक पहुँचने का अवसर मिल सके। कोविंद जी जैसे व्यक्तित्वों ने अपने श्रम और काबिलियत से केवल खुद का जीवन ही बदला, इतना नहीं है, उन्होंने सदियों के उस स्वप्न को, उस विज़न को भी साकार करने में अपनी अहम भूमिका निभाई है। और इस दिशा में हम सबके प्रयास अभी भी जारी हैं। हमें भविष्य में कोविंद जी जैसे अनेकों युवा चाहिए, जो परेशानियों से परास्त न हों, जो मुश्किलों के सामने मायूस न हों, बल्कि अपनी मेहनत से हर मंजिल को आसान बनाने का हौसला रखें। इसी बदलाव से सशक्त भारत के निर्माण का संकल्प पूरा होगा। यहीं से आत्मनिर्भर और विकसित भारत का रास्ता बनेगा।

साथियों,

ऐसे युवाशक्ति के निर्माण के लिए जो प्रेरणा चाहिए, कोविंद जी की ऑटोबायोग्राफ़ी उसका अहम स्रोत बन सकती है।

साथियों,

कोविंद जी ने अपनी जीवनी में मोरारजी भाई देसाई के साथ अनुभवों के बारे में भी इसमें विस्तार से बताया है। कोविंद जी के भीतर देशसेवा की जो भावना थी, मोरारजी भाई के साथ काम करके उन्हें जो सीखने को मिला, जो रास्ता मिला। कोविंद जी ने राजनीति और समाजसेवा को अपना मार्ग बनाया। वो अपने कर्तव्यों के लिए समर्पित रहे। सेवा को उन्होंने अपना लक्ष्य बनाकर काम किया। संसद में उनका कार्यकाल गवाह है। राज्यपाल के रूप में भी उन्होंने एक उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया। राष्ट्रपति के रूप में भी हमें उनकी यही कर्तव्यनिष्ठा दिखाई देती रही। यहाँ तक कि राष्ट्रपति जैसे सर्वोच्च पद से सेवामुक्त होने के बाद भी उन्होंने विश्राम नहीं लिया है। वो अभी भी ‘एक देश, एक चुनाव’ One Nation, One Election जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषय पर काम कर रहे हैं। देश को जगा रहे हैं। ये एक ऐसा विषय है, जिसका समाधान देश के लोकतंत्र का नया अध्याय शुरू कर सकता है। मैं मानता हूँ, कोविंद जी की इस कर्तव्यनिष्ठा और सेवाभाव से देश के लोग बहुत कुछ सीख सकते हैं।

साथियों,

सामाजिक जीवन में सक्रिय रहते हुये ऑटोबायोग्राफ़ी के लिए समय निकाल पाना बहुत मुश्किल होता है। कोविंद जी ने ये काम हम सबके लिए किया है, क्योंकि उनके जीवन में ऐसा कितना कुछ है, जिसमें गरीब वंचित तबके से आए तमाम लोग अपने जीवन की परछाई देख सकते हैं। कैसे एक साधारण परिवार मुश्किल हालातों में भी जीवन की शुचिता और ईमानदारी से समझौता नहीं करता, कैसे वही आदर्श आगे चलकर हमारे जीवन का आधार बनते हैं, हमारे कठिन समय के मूल्य किस तरह जीवनभर हमें रोशनी देते हैं, कैसे इस पवित्रता से हमें राष्ट्र सेवा की शक्ति मिलती है। अलग-अलग पदों का दायित्व निभाते हुए, कोविंद जी ने समाज को निरंतर इसकी प्रेरणा दी है।

साथियों,

मुझे विश्वास है, कोविंद जी की ऑटोबायोग्राफ़ी, इसमें उनके जीवन की ही नहीं, बल्कि हमारे लोकतंत्र की भी अहम स्मृतियाँ सुरक्षित होंगी। मैं एक बार फिर उन्हें उनकी आत्मकथा के लिए शुभकामनाएं देता हूं। और मैं खास करके युवा पीढ़ी से आग्रह करूंगा, रील का जमाना है, सोशल मीडिया में इनफ्लुएंसर आपको खींच के कहीं-कहीं ले जाते हैं। इस शॉर्टकट के युग में भी एक बात हम जरूर याद रखें, रेलवे स्टेशन पर लिखा हुआ होता है, कुछ लोगों को पटरी पर कूद कर के जाने की आदत होती है, ब्रिज पर नहीं जाते। तो वहां लिखा होता है, शॉर्टकट विल कट यू शॉर्ट। और अगर शॉर्टकट के रास्ते से भी कहीं बाहर निकलना है, तो मैं नौजवानों को कहूंगा आपको जिसका भी पसंद हो ऑटोबायोग्राफी जरूर पढ़ें। ऑटोबायोग्राफी उस कालखंड की इतिहास की घटनाओं को अलग तरीके से समझने का अवसर देती है। इतिहास से काफी निकट होता है वो कालखंड बायोग्राफी का और इसलिए मैं जरूर चाहूंगा कि कोविंद जी की जो मेहनत है, वो आने वाली पीढ़ियों को काम आए, युवा पीढ़ी को विशेष रूप से काम आए। बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं। बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद।
