జాతీయ సాహస అవార్డులను ప్రదానం చేసిన ప్రధాన మంత్రి

ప్ర‌ధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ న‌రేంద్ర మోదీ 25 మంది బాలలకు ఈ రోజు జాతీయ సాహస అవార్డులను ప్రదానం చేశారు.

ఈ సందర్భంలో అవార్డు స్వీకర్తలతో ప్రధాన మంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ, వారి సాహసకృత్యాలు వారి యొక్క ధైర్యంతో పాటు వారి నిర్ణయాత్మకతను కూడా సూచిస్తున్నాయన్నారు. ఈ అవార్డు వారి జీవిత పరమార్థానికి ఆఖరుది కాకుండా చూసుకోవాలని, దీనిని ఒక ఆరంభంగా మాత్రమే ఎంచాలని చెబుతూ బాలలను ఆయన ఉత్సాహపరిచారు.

ఈ రోజు యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యతను గురించి ప్రధాన మంత్రి బాలలకు గుర్తు చేశారు. ఈ రోజు జనవరి 23వ తేదీ నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్ర బోస్ జయంతి. బాలలు వీలయినంత ఎక్కువగా చదువుతూ ఉండాలని, ప్రత్యేకించి నాయకులు, క్రీడా రంగ ప్రముఖులు, మరియు తమ జీవిత కాలంలో గొప్ప పనులు సాధించిన ఇతర వ్యక్తుల జీవిత చరిత్ర పుస్తకాలను పఠించవలసిందంటూ ప్రధాన మంత్రి బాలలకు విజ్ఞ‌ప్తి చేశారు.

ధైర్యమనేది మనస్సు యొక్క స్థితి; ఆరోగ్యవంతమైన శరీరం దీనికి తోడ్పడుతుంది, అయితే ప్రధానమైన చోదక శక్తి మాత్రం మనస్సే అని శ్రీ మోదీ అన్నారు. కాబట్టి, మనం మన యొక్క మనస్సును దృఢంగా ఉంచుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు. వారికి దక్కుతున్న ముఖస్తుతి మరియు ఖ్యాతి వారి భావి పురోగతికి అడ్డుపడకుండా జాగ్రత్త తీసుకోవాలని కూడా ప్రధాన మంత్రి బాలలకు చెప్పారు.

మహిళలు, బాలల వికాస శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీమతి మేనకా గాంధీ ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాలుపంచుకొన్నారు.

The National Bravery Award Scheme was initiated by the ICCW – Indian Council for Child Welfare – to give due recognition to the children who distinguish themselves by performing outstanding deeds of bravery and meritorious service and to inspire other children to emulate their examples.

Prime Minister shares a Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising that well-ordered standards must guide human conduct

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam, noting that righteous conduct is like a lamp that illuminates not only an individual but the entire society. Shri Modi highlighted that adopting this very ideal, the people of our country are engaged in nation-building today with complete restraint, capability, and devotion to duty.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"श्रेष्ठ आचरण वह दीपक है, जिससे व्यक्ति के साथ-साथ समाज भी आलोकित होता है। इसी आदर्श को अपनाते हुए हमारे देशवासी आज पूरे संयम, सामर्थ्य और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा से राष्ट्र निर्माण में जुटे हुए हैं।

तस्माच्छास्त्रं प्रमाणं ते कार्याकार्यव्यवस्थितौ।
ज्ञात्वा शास्त्रविधानोक्तं कर्म कर्तुमिहार्हसि।।"

The determination of what ought to be done and what ought not to be done should not rest upon subjective opinion or momentary impulse but upon a well-ordered standard grounded in the Śāstra, which imparts direction and discipline to conduct. Therefore, a person ought to act in accordance with that established system of standards, so that one's conduct becomes balanced, validated and meaningful.
