"Does your CM meet you and talk to you? I have seen the winds of change here and I can tell you that this Government is going: Narendra Modi in Odisha"
"When elections come they start taking names of poor. It’s nothing but a way to win elections: Shri Modi on Congress"
"The way we go to tourist places, there are some people who go to the homes of poor for tourism and take cameramen too: Shri Modi on Congress"
"We have a track record of service. We believe in Daridra Narayan. For us the poor are a manifestation of Almighty: Shri Modi "
"See how blessed Odisha is. But, the leaders here could not manage what God has given and they ruined things for people: Shri Modi"

A scathing attack on the Congress’ penchant for corruption and its inherent trait of filling its pockets at the cost of people’s progress was made by Shri Narendra Modi during his rallies at Balasore, Keonjhar and Dhenkanal in Odisha, on the morning of 11th April. Shri Modi stated the Odisha government’s indifference towards its people, and urged the Nation to show their support for the BJP to ensure a more responsible and accountable government in Delhi.

Attacking the Congress’ insensitivity, which witnessed them visiting the homes of the poor and getting themselves clicked so as to suggest their empathy towards the poor, Shri Modi said that such tactics would never make them understand the pain of poverty. When elections come, they start taking the names of poor. It’s nothing but a way to win the elections. The way we go to tourist places, there are some people who go to the homes of the poor for tourism and take cameramen too,” said Shri Modi. He affirmed of the BJP’s focus on empowering the underprivileged, and backed it with the proven track record of the Party in serving the ‘Daridra Narayan’.

He also spoke of the lack of foresightedness on the part of the State and Central government in tapping the development potential of Odisha, and went on to further highlight the rampant corruption in the present government, which had ruined the Nation.

Shri Modi condemned the Odisha CM’s indifference towards the people who elected him, and stated how such an approach had prompted the people to bring a change in the government. He urged the people to vote on the Lotus symbol and give the BJP a majority, thus ensuring a bright future for the Nation.
