Gujarat chief minister Mr. Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated the newly appointed Deputy Speaker of the assembly Mr. Mangubhai Patel. Member of the legislative assembly (MLA) representing the Gandevi constituency of South Gujarat, Mr. Patel has been appointed as the deputy speaker for the 13th State Assembly here on October 3.

During the assembly session, the House unanimously nominated Mr. Patel for the post of deputy speaker and following which he was formally appointed as the new deputy speaker. Leader of the House, Mr. Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Mr. Nitin Patel and Tribal Welfare Minister Mr. Ganpat Vasava while welcoming Mr. Patel accompanied him to the honourable chair, and complimented for accepting the post.

PM Lauds AirTrunk’s proposed investment of around Rs. 3 lakh crore to develop 5 GW data centre capacity

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today highlighted that India’s digital infrastructure journey is gathering remarkable momentum. The Prime Minister noted that AirTrunk has announced plans to invest around Rs. 3 lakh crore ($30 billion) in India and develop 5 GW of data centre capacity, observing that this is among the largest proposed investments in the country’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.

Shri Modi stated that such investments will significantly strengthen India’s position as a global hub for cloud computing and AI. The Prime Minister pointed out that these developments will simultaneously generate employment opportunities, support local supply chains, and accelerate innovation-led growth, affirming that the future of the world’s digital economy is increasingly being shaped in India.
