On 14th March, 2014, Shri Narendra Modi will address the ‘Vijay Sankalp Samabesh’ rally in Sambalpur, Odisha, at 12.30 pm. Earlier in February 2014, Shri Modi had addressed the people of Bhubaneswar in Odisha.

On the same day, Shri Modi will also interact with lawyers from across India at the Talkatora Indoor stadium, in New Delhi, at 5.30 pm. The event will witness the presence of Senior advocate Ram Jethmalani and members of various Bar associations.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled passing of renowned writer and Jnanpith Awardee Vinod Kumar Shukla ji. Shri Modi stated that he will always be remembered for his invaluable contribution to the world of Hindi literature.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित प्रख्यात लेखक विनोद कुमार शुक्ल जी के निधन से अत्यंत दुख हुआ है। हिन्दी साहित्य जगत में अपने अमूल्य योगदान के लिए वे हमेशा स्मरणीय रहेंगे। शोक की इस घड़ी में मेरी संवेदनाएं उनके परिजनों और प्रशंसकों के साथ हैं। ओम शांति।"
