Gandhinagar: Tuesday: While inaugurating the newly-built complex of Banas Dairy, Chief Minister Mr.Narendra Modi expressed resolve to bring about an economic revolution in the barren land of north Gujarat with the use of solar energy and the water of Narmada.

Chief Minister today inaugurated a newly-built complex of the Banas dairy which has been constructed at the cost of Rs.110-crore. He also laid foundation stone for the 100-ton capacity milk powder plant of the dairy.

Criticizing the Central government for its anti-Gujarat mentality, Chief Minister said the water of Narmada e dairy. constructed at the cost of Rs.110-crore. He said that the farmers of Gujarat immediately need DAP fertilizer but it seems the central government wants to ruin the Gujarat farmers as it has released only one lakh ton fertilizer in three months against the approved demand of 4.80 lakh ton. State government is ready to pay for it in advance but the central government does not leave a single opportunity to misguide the farmers, he said.

While criticizing the people who are siphoning Narmada water, Chief Minister said that it is one of the biggest sins and make the rain-God angry.

Chief Minister lauded the works undertaken by rural women and said that their contribution is crucial for the dairy industry.

Giving details of various initiatives Chief Minister said the state government has started the Kamdhenu University for imparting scientific training of animal husbandry to the people and to create a pool of trained individuals in the animal husbandry industry. The state government is organizing cattle health fairs consequently from last nine years. Due to the vaccination and other treatments the state government succeeded to extirpate 137 diseases out of about 169 animal diseases.

He congratulated those who are involved in the success of the Banas dairy and said the dairy's business has reached to Rs.22000-cr from Rs.400-cr in last one decade due to the hard work of the three and a half lakh cattle keeping people of the district.

Chief Minister handed over a mobile laboratory van to the Banas dairy and gave Banas Lakshmi awards. A chaque of Rs.11-lakh was donated to the Kanya Kelavni Nidhi of the Chief Minister.

Gujarat council ministers Mr.Narottam Patel, Mr.Fakirbhai Vaghela, Mr.Parbat Patel, Mr.Liladhar Vaghela, Mr.Jaysinh Chuahan, MLAs Mr.Shankar Chaudhary, Mr.Vasantbhai Bhatol, Mr.Mafatlal Purohit, Mr.Anil Mali, Mr.Govind Prajapati, Mr.Babubhai Desai, Directors of Banas dairy and farmers were present on the occasion.

PM Modi interacted with BJP karyakartas from across West Bengal under the ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot’ initiative, extending his best wishes for the Bengali New Year to all citizens of the state.


During the interaction, the PM reflected on his recent visits across various parts of West Bengal, highlighting the remarkable enthusiasm, energy and growing support for the BJP among the people. He credited this momentum to the tireless efforts and dedication of booth-level karyakartas.

The PM appreciated the positive response to the BJP’s Sankalp Patra (manifesto), stating that citizens across the state have described it as practical, implementable, and focused on holistic development and welfare.

During the interaction, several karyakartas shared their on-the-ground experiences, highlighting key concerns among the people, including safety, employment, corruption, political violence, and governance challenges. Women karyakartas spoke about concerns over security and dignity, while youth-related issues such as migration due to lack of opportunities were also raised.

PM Modi acknowledged these concerns and emphasised the need for continuous engagement with citizens at the grassroots level. He urged karyakartas to strengthen booth-level organisation through regular outreach and small group meetings, actively connect with women, youth, farmers and first-time voters , clearly communicate the benefits and vision outlined by the BJP, ensure transparency, development and safety, use social media and digital tools effectively to amplify facts and counter misinformation.
He also stressed the importance of documenting and communicating local issues, ensuring that the voices of the people are consistently heard and represented.

The PM constantly reiterated that booth-level strength is the foundation of electoral success, stating that “Booth jeeta, toh chunav jeeta.” He expressed confidence that the growing trust of the people in BJP presents a significant opportunity to bring transformation in West Bengal.
